Fishing Prompts

Dots had been visiting this same spot for the past couple of days, spending his time fishing. He knew what he was here for, he saw the bulletin on the board, but why was it now that the Detunators were being so difficult? Dots used his best bait, he made sure his rod was as sparkly as it could be, Dots was this close to just diving into the water himself and trying to hunt the fishes down by swimming! Dots didn't even know if he COULD swim...

Though, it looks like he was about to find out. He tripped over his rod and went tumbling, feet over head, into the water with a, honestly not very big, splash. Dots didn't know what to expect, he had held his breath on instinct but... found he did not need to, as he slowly sank to the bottom of the mall.

It wasn't so bad, he thought to himself, as he made his slow, floaty descent. This was actually quite nice. Peaceful, even. And, seeing as he may be here for a little longer than a while, Dots did get a few practice kicks in -- he decided, ultimately, that trying to catch fish like this may be easier for him, but it would also certainly take more time, seeing as he would have to sink down to the bottom every time once he wanted to go back up to the top (via walking, of course), and could only carry one, maybe two fish at a time.

Still though, he wanted to catch those Detunators. Maybe that would have to wait until the next fishing trip.
