Clinic

Nixu knocks on the school clinic's window, the door always being locked at this time. He hears a click and the window opens to reveal the school nurse. Her eyes widened at the sight of Nixu's bloody appearance.

Ignoring her reaction Nixu proceeded to climb up the window and into the clinic. His grunt of pain as he sat on a clinic bed snapped the nurse out of her shock.

"Goodness me, you got into a fight again didn't you!?" She exclaimed in exasperation as she scurried about. She brought the 'medical supplies' to the bed Nixu was sitting at and was getting ready to start tending to his wounds when her phone suddenly rang making her jump in shock.

"Hello? Yes, yes. I'll be right there." She said before ending the call and pocketing her phone.

"Sorry Nixu but there's an emergency I need to attend to." She said as her face contorted in slight worry as she looked at the wounded Nixu.

"Don't worry I'll be fucking fine." Nixu said nonchalantly as he took hold of the disinfectant and began cleaning his wounds.

"Alright if you say so. I'm really sorry for leaving you to tend to your wounds like this." And with that she quickly ran out of the clinic.

Nixu watched her leave with a blank expression, grumbling under his breath. When the door closed he swiftly went back to cleaning his wounds. The shadow dragon was used to the process of trying to fix his wounds, albeit he still wasn't good at it. It was a godsend that the school clinic was stocked up with at least some medical supplies.

The clinic was basically desolate majority of the time since there weren't any real doctors or nurses that even worked at Sena. The only nurse being a Sena alumni who if Nixu had to put it lightly "didn't know shit."

No formal training, no nothing. It seemed the ditzy female just wanted to bask in the school nurse aesthetic seeing as she was always dressed in a pastel pink nurse uniform fit with flowers and frills. Very non-professional.

Just as Nixu was about to finish bandaging his wounds the door to the clinic suddenly opened making him drop the bandage roll.

Well the door wasn't exactly opened more like broken down since it had been locked. the door slammed on the floor as the bandage roll Nixu was holding was now rolling on the floor.

He turned to look at the person who startled him. And there on the entrance panting like crazy was his one and only lover. The first thought that crossed Nixu's mind is 'He's as attractive as ever'. The thought that followed the first was 'shit I'm about to be scolded'.

And just as he thought that his beloved Kazuya rushed towards him, quickly checking his wounds. "Dammit Nix, I thought I told you to be careful about getting into fights."

The ice dragon scoffed as he observed the messily wrapped bandages.

"I was careful but they had reinforcements." Nixu said as he stood to pick up the bandage. Kazuya stopped him from moving by gently pushing him back down to sit on the bed.

"That's not being careful then!" Kazuya sighed in exasperation as he bent down to pick up the bandage. He approached Nixu, and sat beside him. He unwrapped the bandages Nixu had wrapped around his self, discarding them swiftly. He then took the medical supplies and began re-cleaning Nixu's wounds.

Kazuya isn't what you call the most skilled in this injury tending thing, but he'd done it enough to know the correct steps. Besides he couldn't leave this up to Nixu seeing that he was absolutely horrible at wrapping and cleaning his very frequent wounds.

The two dragons sat there in silence as Nixu watched Kazuya tend to his wounds. Kazuya noticed Nixu's stare and intentionally tightened the bandage making Nixu flinch in pain.

"There, all done." Kazuya announced as he finished tying the bandage. And once again they sat there in silence.

"I-" Before Nixu could continue Kazuya spoke.

"The guy you saved from those delinquents found me and told me that you were in trouble. He told me that they had weapons and dreaded the worst. I know you can take care of yourself but I can't help worrying about you." Kazuya admitted as he grabbed hold of Nixu bringing him in for a hug.

Nixu was caught off guard but he reciprocated the hug nonetheless. Nixu then noticed Kazuya was shaking. Crying. Nixu tightened his hold on his lover. 'Kazuya never cries like this.'

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you." Nixu softly said as he embraced Kazuya. For a while they stayed like that as Kazuya cried. When Kazuya finally calmed down Nixu pulled away from the hug to look at Kazuya directly.

Nixu wiped away the remaining tears that fell from Kazuya's eyes. Kazuya nuzzled Nixu's hands, relishing his lover's touch.

"Hey Kazuya, I can't promise I won't get into any more trouble. But I can promise that I'll come back to you all the time. No matter where you are, even if it's to the end of the universe, I'll find you and I'll come back to you." Nixu said as he leaned in and kissed Kazuya.
