Monthly Quests 2020

Rabbit was very happy with the card she had made, with the help of a few others and some sneaky companions she had managed to gather a whole stack of paper, bouquets of flowers and a plethora of colored paints. She had spent all morning putting together custom made cards for some of the other she had met along the way. She was holding a messily folder paper card and a small bouquet of Monkshood and oxeye Daisy. She trotted her way through the forests in search of a particular mare that she had hunted with on a few occasions. Rabbit hoped that she wouldn't be too hard to find from the last few places she had found her. The sunset cremello mare kept her eyes open as she passed through meadow and clearing for signs of the mare she was looking for. It took the better part of a few hours but finally, Rabbit found who she was looking for. There in the brilliant sunlight was Kadra. She was grazing on what looked like a very yummy black Sambucus bush. Rabbit swiveled her large ears back and cleared her throat as she approached the other mare. The black roan mare looked up from her snack with a bunch hanging from her lips that swayed as she chewed. She smiled as Rabbit presented her with the card and the small bunch of yellow and purple flowers. As Kadra took the gifts she moved aside to offer some of the tangy berries to Rabbit, "would you like to join me for a small snack? I feel bad that I don't have anything for you," the archetain mare said as she tilted her head looking at Rabbit. "Oh no, it's fine really. I wanted to bring these to you as...well a thank you for the time we've spent together already," The two mares giggled at each other as they sat and talked about the hunts they had taken together and just how fun it had been. It almost felt like they talked for hours before Rabbit heaved a sigh with a wide grin. "it was good to see you again Kadra, I hope we can hunt together again soon," Kadra nodded as she gave the cremello mare a hug "Be safe on your journey home, we'll see you soon," Rabbit left feeling satisfied, she really loved seeing Kadra, it almost reminded her of her herd. She could feel her face flushing as she gave one last look back at the black roan mare who flicked her tail like a banner before continuing on home, her heart all but bursting at the seams with joy.
