It had been around… four, five days? It’s alright being home, as much as I can give out.

The only reason I’d choose to walk back into this hellhole is because Lani needed me, I could give a fuck about the rest of my family. They abandoned me, forced me to wake up before even the damn sun came up. I had to repay the fucking debts that were my father’s, I had to replace the fucking son Ailani was meant to be. Who would want to like this family?

Shit- I forget Haukea. She’s the only other good part about it. My mom partially, just the men. Ironic, but I should have seen it.

I hate this house. I hate the wood that smells too much like the sandbars out on north shore, the windows to the open sea right outside. It’s the kind of shit I’m suppose to like- and I did. I can remember all the good memories, I’m not stupid. The beach is nice and pleasant, when the family was whole it seemed like the beach knew too, the whole island was happier for us.

On the beach, I was wet from the ocean, even the jellyfish sting didn’t stop me. Khelani in my mothers arms, she was just a baby. My dad was even likable then, and Ailani-

He was my brother still.

Now I don’t despise this house, it’s not detestable. Just… hateful.

Bad memories. Dejavú.

What can I say? I’m also petty as hell, this place will never redeem itself. God even my small ass room in Caer Sidi is better than this, well… hell that room is one of the nicer ones.

Doesn’t matter- I’m here.

Welcome home.

Wonderful.

Just perfect.

Absolutely fine.
