RP turned into a story. Osias exacts revenge on Kaoori for stealing the souls of Bartemius and Wesker. After this, Wesker came to Kaoori's aid, fighting off the demon. Osias stripped him of his enhanced speed, strength and regenerative abilities. Wesker retorted by saying he never needed them anyway.

She finds him there, in his usual spot, the place he calls his -throne-;  she approaches him, ignoring the buzzing of flies and stands there, reading to speak. "Osias."

With a deep exhale and the subtle snap of his neck, he turns to face her. "What could you possibly be doing here."

Kaoori walked closer, enough to smell the tar smell and the flies to attempt to find their way into her nose, her ears, her eyes...  she shook them off, irritated.  "Stay away.  From them all.  From my family.  How -dare- you attempt to make a deal with my son."

"How dare me? How dare you... Coming into my home, uninvited, and stealing what is rightfully mine. Have you any manners? Morals?" A pause, a deep breath, a growing shadow. "And since you are so...ill-informed, it was Takeshi that approached me. Kaoori."

She was starting to lose her resolve, but she couldn't.  She'd stood before him before, she could do this.  "I went there to claim something that was wrongfully taken.  The only way I knew how, since there was no way to bargain with you.  As for my son.. you would have never had a chance with him.  I swear to you I would have marched into your home and done it all over again."

"You misunderstand the nature of negotiations. A deal is only struck when a middle ground is met, yes. Your mate, your son. They knew what they wanted and what they were getting themselves into. You are not as clever as I once thought you were. Brazen, but foolish and rude."

"I don't care what you think.  All I know is you're a demon.  Stay away from my family.   Stay away from my -children-.   Don't even breathe their way."

He finally took to his feet. "Let us make a deal then. Stay away from me. Steal from and preach to someone else."

"You'll never keep your end of the bargain."  Her eyes narrowed.  "And if you stay away from my family, you'll find my friends easy pickings, I'm sure.  I don't trust you. I never have."

"You ignorant, selfish doe. You've forgotten, that it is you that has failed to keep your end of the bargain."

 "I don't know what you're talking about..."

"Surely you do. You must. Deals are... give and take. And you've walked away with two of my personal belongings, free of charge. Does that strike you as fair, my little doe?"

"...I never made a bargain with you.. "   her ears flattened, and she took a step back, looking up at him.

"No. You stole from me, and I don't take too kindly to thieves."

"I'm not giving them back."  she intended to sound tough, but she found herself taking another step back.

And he took a step forward. "I did not say that. Did I?"

"N-no." she began to cower a little.

"Good. You're listening this time."

Kaoori had no words, but she was ready to run.

The flies would circle just once, close to her hindquarters, if anything to spook her towards him. "Ah, you listen, but now you don't speak."

Kaoori felt the flies buzz loudly, whipping around her hindquarters, and startled, she shot forward, ramming herself into Osias' front legs.  Just as quickly, she scrambled to her feet.

He lowered his thick neck slowly, so that they were face to face, eye level. Perhaps she could even feel the warmth of his breath that crept out from behind his mask, from his real face. "Skittish, aren't you? What is the matter, my little doe? Where has your courage gone? Have you finally made sense of your predicament? What you. owe. me?"

Kaoori swallowed thickly, unable to turn away from those dark, endless eyes; his breath hot upon her face.   She was frozen in place, literally a deer caught in headlights.

And his headlights were narrowed upon her and her alone, shadowed garnet, focused, sharp. "Ahhh, once we are through with this, there will no longer be a need for questions and answers. You will see things, hear things so clearly..."

The little shika shook her head feebly, the only noise coming from her a small whimper.

He drew her closer with one cloven hoof. "What do you say?"

Despite her fear, she said the only thing she could say, in a dry, frightened whisper. "Get away from me."

"Convince me."

She looked at him, and with all her strength, rammed her head square into his neck, hoping it would at least knock the air out of him.

It did little, unfortunately, and it was then that he would snap his neck and strike-shove her with the bulk of it, following where she likely fell. "Don't make this difficult."

Kaoori was flung to the ground a bit, and sat up, shaking her head.  "Go back to your hell", she hissed.

He continued his approach. "Not until we are even."

The blue doe finally stood up on all fours, charging at him and weaving between his legs, taking a moment to ram at a back one, hoping to knock it underneath him and make him lose balance and fall.

He so casually lifted one of his front legs and struck her with that as well. A great sigh escaped him. "What is it that you are trying to do?"

Kaoori was knocked aside, the wind rushing out of her and falling hard to the rocks of the ruins.  "I want you...  to go away.. "

This time his eyes narrowed. "Of course you do." He ambled towards her and slowly lifted one hoof and placed it upon the rise and fall of her chest, pressing just hard enough to get his point across, harder if necessary. "Don't make me do this."

"I'm not afraid of you anymore.  I should have run, you can't leave these ruins.  You wouldn't have caught me.  You can only do so much.  And if you kill me, I'll find a way out of your hell... somehow."

He struck her with that hoof. "Hnn..." cast quietly to the air, regaining his composure. "Even now you misunderstand me."

Kaoori felt as if a boulder had landed on her when Osias' hoof had slammed down on her chest, and she had all she could do not to scream, hearing something inside crack.  Regaining her own composure, she dug a hoof in the ground, and uttered a curse at him in Japanese which went something along the line of 'go fuck yourself'.

"You would like that, wouldn't you." He lowered his head to her chest to hear the beating of her heart before slowly dragging his foremost tine up the length of it.

Kaoori's heart raced as his head got closer, and unable to stay quiet, she screamed as the demon raked her with his antler, trying to get away from him but unable to move for fear of being fatally gored if she did.
