The day was golden, soft and warm. Only a soft breeze went through the forest, seemingly done to disturb no one. Throughout the plants and forest was a soft golden light spray across all branches and grass. The only thing to be heard in the forest was animals chirping and a small squeaking sound. It was from Chibi's back wheels as they followed the small dirt path. They loved days like this, it was so calming and peaceful, nothing to knock them down or scare them. Chibi knew the area well, they were heading to one of the bigger opened areas to rest. Luckily they could since it seemed that no other mhoats were around at this time. Too early they guessed. As they reached the glade, some animals skittered off at Chibi's presence. They picked the middle, the sunlight there was warm and really nice. Chibi smacked their lips as they stretched, it was almost too warm, making them a bit sleepy. Toshi their service pet joined their side, yawning. Once stopped Toshi looked at Chibi and wagged their tail so hard that it wagged their whole body.

In Toshi's jaws was a small teal bag, almost the size of Chibi. Small to Toshi though. Toshi dropped the bag by Chibi. Chibi looked at it before they could do anything, a yawned escaped them. Chibi really felt like nodding off. Suddenly a tongue licked their face, chin to the top of their head. Toshi. Chibi let out a cry, lifting a paw to bat Toshi off. Shaking their head, Chibi dove into the bag to prevent any more attacks. A soft fabric touched Chibi's nose once they noticed, Chibi yanked it out. Chibi stepped on the bag to help themselves but they couldn't pull it out hardly. Toshi stepped forward grabbing it and pulled it out easily. It was a folded up pink blanket, it didn't stay folded for long as Toshi shook their head so hard it came loose. Toshi dropped it, looking for a corner to nab, Chibi now joining them. The two awkwardly straightening it out and placing it crookedly in the center of the glade.

Once placed, Chibi picked up the discarded bag and pulled themselves in the middle. Toshi joined them, nipping at the two clasps on Chibi's back. Quickly, Chibi dropped the bag as they were lifted off their wheels by the scruff of their neck. Toshi set them beside the wheel on the soft small pink blanket.

“Thank you!” Chibi said to Toshi as they nosed the bag to them. Chibi popped their head in the bag once more as Toshi plopped beside them. Gently they pulled out a small gathering of silk, barely half the size of their paw. It seems to have been crumpled a bit by the bag or the blanket. Toshi nabbed the bag away once Chibi was done, shaking it about violently before setting their chin on it and yawing. Toshi began to watch Chibi as they began using their four paws to slowly shape and form the silk. Chibi's tongue poked out as they worked slowly on it. Toshi peeked at it, it looked like a heart but who knows? Chibi eyebrow's furled as they kept working. It was supposed to be a flower. The lack of silk and it being so tiny was making it hard to shape it into that. It wasn't going very well, if not at all. This was all the silk they could make after all. Then they didn't have enough dexterity but they can't shape-shift. Their small fat toe beans could only do so much. Chibi wouldn't let it bother them though. They would work diligently and make it amazing none the less!

They worked a long while, the sun gently caressing them making them slightly sleepy. A voice like the soft golden sunbeams suddenly spoke up next to them. “Oh! Hello~ What's that you are making?” It paused, a golden hoof entered Chibi's line of sight. “OH! Oh, dear. Is that all you have? Do you not have enough?” Chibi froze, slowly peeking up at the beautiful golden mhoat that seems to have suddenly popped by them. How did they not noticed? Peeking over at Toshi who was cuddled by them, Toshi seems to be napping. Oh. No wonder. Chibi looked back up at the mhoat who seems to be waiting. They wanted to say hi, or no, Hello. No too informal, Good morning. Wait it's not really morning? Good afternoon? It is afternoon? The sun is up. Oh. Oh geez, they are just staring at this mhoat. Say need to say a greeting! And quick!!

"Blrrrrp" Nope. Not that. Chibi grimaced internally at that. Least they had said something? The Mhoat pulled away seeming surprised. Then they burst out laughing.

“Okay~ Well. Tell you what, I do have extra silk if you do perhaps need it.” The mhoat claimed. They smiled softly before continuing. “Do you need help, so I can take you to it? Or do you want me to bring it to you?” Chibi didn't mind following them, they seem kind. Chibi bit their bag and trying to tug it out from under their pet, Toshi. With little to no luck, Chibi felt as if they were making an ass out of themselves. No less in front of this complete stranger. A soft hum was heard as a hand grabbed the bag. The mhoat seemed to have shape-shifted to a more Anthro form. They pulled the bag gently out from under their napping pet. With the bag gone, leaving Toshi's head to hit the ground. Toshi snapped up with that looking around, seeing the strange mhoat Toshi rose. A paw was placed between the two. Nabbing Chibi by the scruff, pulling them close.

A small chirp snapped Toshi out of their fright. Chibi looked up at them blowing a raspberry at Toshi. Toshi whole body language changed at they began wiggling. Slowly they placed Chibi on their wheels, helping to snap them in as the mhoat waited. Gently Chibi raised the small misshapen flower that was still cupped in their paws up to the mhoat, who took it with care. Once strapped up, Chibi and Toshi got off of the blanket as the black and golden mhoat pulled it to them and folded up the blanket, placing it into the bag they held. "Well, Follow me!" They said, brightly. "Oh! I almost forgot. I'm Lumia, by the way. Nice to meet you both!"

Chibi chirped once more at them as they followed Lumia deeper into the forest. Lumia seemed to live in a more secluded area, off of the well-worn paths. Chibi's wheels squeaked loudly at the uneven path, the bumps nearly rocking them off. Toshi kept watched as they followed, steadying Chibi each time. Soon enough, they reached Lumia's home. It was a really nice place, looked a bit lonely but homey. As promised Lumia did have extra silk that they let Chibi have. Chibi began to work more on their flower as they settled it. Soon the day was going by, the golden sky turned blue then to bright orange. It ended up nothing like a flower, Chibi loved it! It was their first try and it was hard but now it was finished. Chibi couldn't wait to try again! Looking up, they saw the orange sky darkening, the plants began to glow. Inari is going to worry, oh they need to get home as soon as they can.

Chirping at Toshi, Toshi rose and stretched. They helped Chibi once more into their wheels. Chibi then stretched as well, their legs slightly stiff from laying down so long. Gently they picked up the flower and wheeled over to Lumia who was working on something. Chirping, they got Lumia to look at them. They rose the small misshapen flower to Lumia. Just as Lumia took it, Chibi took off, almost wheeled over their bag. Toshi picked it up out of the way just before it got squished.

“Chi~bi” Chibi squeaked as they used a front paw to pat their chest. Then using the same paw to wave. Just as Lumia raise their hand to wave, Chibi was gone. Lumia didn't even have a chance to reply as the little mhoat took off. Chibi ran fast off with Toshi fast on their heels, the bumps propelling them faster. Oh, what a day! Inari would be protective but happy that someone helped Chibi out! Maybe Inari even knew of Lumia! Chibi couldn't wait to tell Inari everything!! Today was such a wonderful day. Chibi did want to go back next time and make more! Maybe Lumia could teach them as well! Elana was teaching them to make stars after all, whenever they were around. Plus, Lumia could know how to make other things that Elana didn't. Soon, Chibi and Toshi hit home, the sun had long since set and a soft glow took over the island like a blanket.
