Lumia is a case of two desires tugging against each other, a need to present herself as a serious and respectable business mhoat with a public face and the other to live in peaceful seclusion away from it all. At her core, she is introverted, preferring solitude and the quiet of her work over social affairs. Her voice at home is so rarely used that one might wonder if she even had one, but in return, it is wielded efficiently in her trade. For her, work requires absolute dedication from weaving her silks, negotiating with traders, and handling client requests. Her focus is singular and her approach calm and measured even with the most difficult of clientele. For this reason, despite her warring desires she always attempts to appear pleasant and friendly to all she meets.

• A master weaver and designer of garments, Lumia is well known among the fashion world for her abilities but it is her ability to weave complex gold patterns directly into her fabrics that has established her among the elite social circles across the islands.
• Gold is a difficult material to come by, so the ability to procure and use it has earned her a lot of clout in the crafting community. Connections established among mining mhoats means she can often trade gifts of fine fabric for a consistent supply of gold. Otherwise, much of the gold she uses in her projects comes from the individuals who request her skills directly (gold itself is only rare due to its scarcity, for most mhoats it's merely a decorative and shiny metal).
• Lumia enjoys a quiet and tranquil space to call her own, for this reason, her home is isolated from both cities and nearby villages. Having a place of solitude to come back to after delivering an order or visiting the markets to collect materials is a major boon since she much prefers quiet over the noise and bustle of populated spaces. Despite enjoying being away from it all, Lumia is still often appreciative of visitors and shows them the utmost hospitality when they enter her home.
• Given the quality of her silks, she is often very strict about the diets of both herself and those who provide their own silks for her to work with since even a little difference in food can alter the quality and color of the silks. This means those she works with to produce particular silks are expected to be as invested in the process as she is, which leads to them being a very limited circle of mhoats.
