Weekly: Uncommon ❄️: Helping the Barn Pen

With a soft downpour outside, the barn pen seemed to be in a light uproar. All the companion pets and stationed mount beasts seemed to be in a bit of a funk from the humidity and their desire to go outside and enjoy it. Clearly, not all shared the desire to get wet and rainy in the first pours of spring; Magna was one of them. However, she could agree on one thing: it was absolutely starting to get too humid and muggy. It caused the usually pleasant-smelling barn to be mixed with the new sweat of beasts and their despair. And gazing up towards the air-cooling device, no enchantments were yet placed to keep the companions content. Someone must have forgotten!

Given her pen was open as always, Magna simply left, grabbing her blanket and following after a sneak-away Chum Bucket who was as displeased as the rest of the lot. Her reasons to follow were simple: to chill off in the cool of the ship's spare rooms and let it be known that the barn pen was having an issue. After which, she would relax wherever her friend Chum Bucket had decided to hide, which was usually Oogieboogs or Quinn's room. Her mission was simple, strutting with a diva attitude all the way to her owner's quarters. Sparing no need for a proper introduction, Magna scratched wildly at Winnie's door until it was opened.

Looking up at him, she gave a firm expression that something was apparently wrong, pointing down the hall in an annoyed manner, then turned to start guiding him to the barn pens. Thankfully, Winnie was close enough to Magna that he understood her needs and was surprised to find the situation in the barn pen. Sheepishly, the boy had forgotten it was his job to enchant the air con at the first start of spring. With a quick flick of magic and a few tomes to place on it, the enchanted mechanism started to work without a hitch. It would run to the companions' needs all through the spring, summer, and fall.

Finding her first mission a success, Magna excused herself to go find Chum Bucket and nap while Winnie went about tending to each distressed companion by helping them cool off or removing unwanted scents faster.
