★ [Nephele] Green Forest

The color green was just everywhere in sight. Green leaves, green vines, green bark, green grass, it was surprising that the water wasn't green. It sometimes was, but eight now it was a soft blue full of the active shadows of the water dwellers. Nephi, a female gorgon, didn't mind this at all. Not that she could really see, a self inflicted injury left her eyesight bad. Not blind but she might as well be between the injury and her blindfold She loved her jungle home all the same, it was so luscious even in the colder months and being so close to the water it was so convenient. The only inconvenient part about her large tree was how she made it. For years she slowly carved out the tree in just the right way that it would still live and thrive. Made even harder by her bad eyesight, but that was caused by herself so it wasn't like she thought she was allowed to complain. She had time though, plenty of that. Even now as she took one of her clay pots and dunked it into the baby blue colored waster. Her little white snakes hissed and kissed on her darker face, causing laughter until she reached out a hand to give some of them a stroke.
She whistled softly in a tune as she pulled it into her arms, head turning up towards the as if looking, but she was just admiring the share they were starting to cast.
They were just growing back after a rough storm, it ruined a few parts of the forest but she still loved it, going out after to help along things with a little cleanup. Lost in her own world, she jumped as a few vines fell down and landed in the water, the splash started her. After realizing what it was though she hummed, debating should she grab those up before they floated away down the river.
"They fell because they're weak, I don't think they'd be of any use aside from consuming." Meeping, she had forgotten her dragon had slithered down from a higher up branch to keep her company. He was so quiet at times, when lost enough in her own mind she forgot he was even there.
"T-true, do you think these vines are tasty?" She had never made vine soup, but she recalled a traveler that came through spoke of it. Not of how to make it or it's taste but just it's existence.
Sticking his head out to pick up the fallen vines in question, he placed it in the basket he was using to gather up some berries and other wild vegetation. Dinner was approaching and Nephy needed things to cook up. After a long day of egg hunting she was left a bit more tired and was planning on just turning in without dinner, but Draco knew that was no good and took it upon himself to go find things for the meal.
"I'm not entirely sure, we can add some into today's dinner and find out if you desired?" Going quiet as she thought, it was quite a few moments of o answer. The dark green drippy looking noodle waited patiently, knowing his rider well and knew she needed time.
"I, I suppose we could..." Starting off back towards the house, her hair snakes hissed in agreement. "Hopefully it fills our home sweet home with some delicious smells. I know how you like that."
"I indeed do." Trailing behind, Draco was ready for food and an early turn in. The jungle home kept them busy, at times too busy, but to him it was the best of homes with his rider.
