Den for Malphas and Zepher

The Abandoned Theater

Pushing open the creaky front door, the dark skinned male with crystal like horns  hummed as he peeked into the unlit halls. Rubbish was scattered everywhere and many of the ceiling futures had fallen with time and smashed on the ground below. It was going to be so much hard work, but the demon was ready for a busy time of making this previously lovely and adored theater back into what it once was. PUshing his body against the door more to head deeper inside, he closed it behind him, staring at the locking mechanism on the door but figured no one would disturb him in his new home when there were so many rumours of it being haunted.

He wasn’t sure if he believed it, but being a demon himself he didn’t count it out of the question. Rearranging his bag on his that held all of things in it, he supposed the first source of action was to find where he’d set up his bedroom. It couldn’t be the dressing room, that would be one day used by way to many people. He needed his alone time too, and didn’t want to interact with people all the time if there was an option. So that left one of the many side rooms and ‘star’ dressing rooms for more important people who needed their own area. It was a big theater so there were many options to choose from.

Hearing some strange noises, Zepher rose from his spot lazing on the ground. Shifting from human to shade form, he had just recently taken up a small room of the theatre Yua had recommended to him, but it was his now! Why did people keep trying to invade his home!? "Common rat, looks like we've got more company to spook away!" Floating over to the one thing had actually had in his room, Zeph picked up a small stuffed rat about half a foot tall. Its bandana currently red, the small table he had dragged in from a different area had multiple folded clothes to change out.

There were many more items scattered about, toys hanging out of boxes, umbrellas stacked high in a corner, coats hanging against the walls. He lived in a lost and found room. An ironic place, or at least that's what the voice inside his head said it was. He didn't really get it himself.

Picking up the stuffed animal though, it was his one companion while the voice seemed to be 'waking up' from its idling. 'Another?' It questioned, getting a nod from Zeph. "Yeah, what should we do this time?" hearing a hum, it finally answered, 'grab the bucket and fill it with honey, then pick up a feather pillow. We'll make a chicken this time.'

They were childish pranks, but they usually got the job done as Zeph wandered off to prepare a welcoming for their new invader.

Searching through the halls as he looked for a mostly put together room, the male was starting to realize this may become more work though it previously thought. Not that he was deterred from his original plan, it just made him feel all the more tired after traveling for quite a few days to come to his new and ruined home. He could see it's younger day though, dried up and old roses left on the theater floors, popcorn bags scattered in the kitchen, and many ripped and torn clothes scattered through every room. People had clearly been here and left, which would need to be remedied as he didn’t want any uninvited guests in his home.
