Arithony Oneshots

Anthony sighed as he passed the stores window for the 50th time. He kept staring at a lifeless figure,one that was way too expensive for him to buy for Ariel. The figure was an android of Ken from Digimon 02, and was Ariel's favorite character. She adored it when she walked by the store with Anthony. He knew that Ariel would love him if he got her that android, but he was broke and couldn't get enough money to buy it, he was too young to get a real job at only 11, and shoveling snow and walking dogs only got him up to $30 of the $500 needed to purchase it. He didn't want to break Ariel's heart. There had to be a way to get that android!
"Hey Tony." Electra said as she petted Cinnamon and a second cat.
"Hi Electra." He replied halfheartedly.
"Why are you so down?"
"It's that Ariel really wants that android and I can't afford it."
"Is it the android or the character?"
"Character."
"I can make you look like him,it's just you will be the one to try to make your voice sound like his."
"Alright...."
~Christmas Night~
Ariel was fast asleep and in her room,far from her Christmas tree where Electra and Anthony were,setting up with their surprise.
"So I recorded some lines from Digimon in this little recorder that I can play whatever I need to." The boy told the older girl.
"Just put this on." Electra said as she handed him a costume. He threw the recordings into his pants pocket and put them on. Once he got the clothes on, he looked in the reflection of his phone. He looked pretty accurate except for 1 main problem. His eyes and hair were the wrong color. Wayyy off from the actual character. Before he could say anything,he had something stuck in his eyes.
"Oww...." He said,rubbing his eyes
"Contacts." Electra said as she dug something out of her duffle bag,as her cats Cinnamon and Mint got off the bag. It was a decapitated head,obviously made of plastic, with a blue purple wig on it.
"What's this for?" Anthony asked, obviously confused.
"To make you look more like him,duh." He put it on,tucking his own hair underneath. Electra put a mirror up to his face so that he can put on the finishing touches on himself.
"Now remember kid, sleep now and use that recording thing you have." She said,slightly smiling. "I'm going to bed on the couch." She walked over to Ariel's couch and passed out. Anthony propped himself up against some presents and fell asleep.

~Next Morning~
Anthony felt something soft rub gently across his cheek and opened one eye, to see that Ariel was there wearing her normal tank top pajamas and no pants.
"Morning Kenchan." She said, smiling brightly making Anthony smile on the inside. He just put on a smile,hoping for Ariel to turn away so he can get the recording out of his pocket.
"It's a shame Anthony couldn't be here to meet you because he went last minute shopping. He's a really nice guy,and funny and a guy that would do anything for his loved ones despite the background he came from. Poor kid lost his parents when he was 4. Soon,he met me and we've been close friends since. I was waiting for today to give him a kiss under the mistletoe,but I guess that isn't happening." As soon as he got a chance, he flipped to the last part of the recording. The one he spent days editing and making sure that it sounded right. He hit the play button,hoping it would go right.
"Ariel,I wanted this Christmas go right and really get you that android,but it was too expensive for me to buy so I came up with an alternative answer. Dress up as Ken so you can have your dream come true. Mine is too far fetched so I'm doing the best to make you happy. Merry Christmas...." Ariel started to tear up and hugged the smaller boy,making his real hair show with the wig go flying.
"Thank you." She said,and kissed him on the lips. The boy wanted this moment to last for eternity,but was interrupted by Electra.
"Guys,there's a package here for you to sign!" She shouted. They quickly break up the kiss and Ariel runs towards the door.
"Are you miss... Wait,there's no last name here!" The delivery man said
"Yeah it's called I wasn't born with one." Ariel replied as she signed the papers and then hands them back.
"Merry Christmas!" Anthony says as the delivery man leaves and then closes the door. As the boy does that,Ariel notices a paper on the package. She decides to open it up to find a letter
Dear Ariel,
We noticed that your friend was always looking at this and saying that he could never afford it. So in the Christmas spirit,we've decided to pay it off for you. Merry Christmas, N tech
Ariel opened the box to find a lifeless android. The one she wanted.
"Ken-chan...." She said smiling and tears filling in her eyes. Anthony smiled and opened the android's jacket to turn him on. Before it could open its eyes, Ariel closed the jacket. His eyes slowly opened and quietly said.
"You two make a cute couple."
