Finding Tim and new life in Ä+*4~
Finding Tim’s place was easy for Cereal Killer, but he did get quite nervous standing in front of his door, waiting for him to open. When Tim opened the door, Cereal Killer began explaining how he only got into town and had nowhere to go, which was technically the truth. Tim was noticeably surprised, looking back to the red haired friend who seemed to have been visiting at that very moment. She just shrugged back at Tim, not knowing what to make of the situation herself. Perhaps realizing that a fairy will only visit a home with the purpose of bringing a blessing to its residents, Tim decided to let Cereal Killer in. He kindly offered Cereal Killer the couch in his living room to spend the night, but Cereal Killer didn’t sleep much that night. He knew it was crucial to stay at Tim’s home as long as possible, preferably forever if all goes according to plan. In the morning he told Tim it might take a while for him to find his own place here, as he only just arrived from Ä+*4~, and he might have to stay for a few days. Tim agreed. He even decided to take a few days off to help Cereal Killer find his way in a new town.
Cereal Killer took all the advantage of having Tim at his disposal, and took the time they spent exploring the town as an opportunity for them to get to know each other better too. They spent a few fun days in town, Tim showed Cereal Killer around the area and introduced him to his friends. Cereal Killer loved warm and sunny Ä+*4~, he loved the new friends he met and he especially loved the fact that Tim let him in his life. He soon also found a job at a nearby herbal garden. Fairies working there were happy to get a new helper who knew so much about all the herbs and plants as Cereal Killer did. There, Cereal Killer mostly focused on taking care of his own area in the garden, and making medicine for people who needed it. After working there for a while, he learnt more about medicine and ways to treat and heal people. He was also quickly accepted into Tim’s family, they were glad to have a fairy and a healer in their group. This change of scenery and new life seemed to have been beneficial for Cereal Killer in many ways, he found himself to become calmer and happier, and less dependent on drugs. However, occasional incidents are still unavoidable.
Meanwhile, Tim seemed to have particularly enjoyed Cereal Killers company, and was glad to have someone living with him; he never liked living alone. After a few days of living at Tim’s place, Cereal Killer decided that sleeping on the couch just won’t do anymore and asked Tim if he could sleep in the bed with him. Tim agreed. That gave Cereal Killer the confidence he needed to try and push Tim’s boundaries ever so slightly to see how far he’d let him go. He started inventing all sorts of scenarios where Tim would have to pretend to be his boyfriend, and Tim seemed to just go along with it as these became more and more elaborate. It started with Tim just having to confirm he’s with Cereal Killer to avoid having to testify before Glitter God and Satan about the crimes Cereal Killer supposedly committed, to holding hands and kissing in public. Tim never seemed to mind any of it. After all, it wasn’t all just Cereal Killer’s random whims, a lot of the time Tim would also benefit from having a fairy around to protect him from unwanted attention he would often get from people. When they were home, Cereal Killer wouldn’t rest either. He spent as much time as he could with Tim, cheering him up when he was sad, and taking care of him when he was sick. However, moles are known for their resilient immune system and Cereal Killer didn’t have time to wait for Tim to get sick on his own. Though he will deny it furiously, he did resort to mildly poisoning him at least once, and intentionally tripping him so he would fall and brak his ankle once, just to show him how well he’ll take care of him if he gets sick or injured. He would make herbal teas for Tim, and let him know about his faith healing skill, that he said would only use for Tim. Tim appreciated all that very much and was glad that, if he had to get unexpectedly and severely ill, it was at a time he had a fairy living with him. Once during this time, he also told Cereal Killer just how grateful he is to have him, and how much he had fallen in love with him by then. Tim would later blame the incident on delirium caused by the mix of sickness and the strong herbal tea Cereal Killer made him, but by then, the fact that Tim never turned down any of his advances told Cereal Killer all he needed to know. It was only a matter of time before they both would stop pretending that they are only pretending to be in love.
