How Benjamin and Erica got Cereal Killer

Cereal Killer never found out who his real parents were. He grew up with Benjamin and Erica, who told him his real parents sold him to them, in order to get money to buy drugs.[1]
As the actual story goes, Cereal Killer was the son of a couple in the downline of Benjamin's drug trading MLM. He sold them a suply of drugs that they would sell forward to the people in their own downline. This worked well, until one day when young Cereal Killer got into his parent's supply and ate most of it. This sent his parents into debt with Benjamin, and him into a crippling drug addiciton he's still battling with to this day. Seeing Cereal Killer's parents no had no supply to sell and earn money with, and no money to pay Benjamin what they already owed him for the very supply Cereal Killer ate, they saw only one solution: giving Cereal Killer to Benjamin as a compensation for all the lost money and goods. It was a daring plan that had a low chance of actually working. But since Cereal Killer is a rare moth fairy, and Benjamin and his partner Erica were just thinking of starting a fammily of their own, with a little fairy child of their own, this plan actually ended up working. Laws in T@Ö#Ä3 aren't very strict when is comes to buying or selling children, so the transaction went though without a problem; until moments after Benjamin accepted Cereal Killer and realized the small moth fairy is already addicted to drugs. He couldn't go back on it now, and took Cereal Killer home with him. Soon after Cereal Killer's real parents ran off to another part of town, never to be seen or heard form again.
Cereal Killer was too young to remember any of this, or maybe he just forgot because drugs fried his brain. However, not knowing this story of who his parents were never bothered Cereal Killer too much. Benjamin and Erica loved him and raised him as his own, and he never knew any other parents, so he was happy. With Erica being a fairy and Benjamin being a drug lord, they were quite wealthy. But this was not what really mattered the most. It was a constant supply of drugs and having a fairy mother that taught him all about being a fairy that really mattered for Cereal Killer.

Childhood years

His young years were pretty hard, Cereal Killer was fussy and difficult, even more so due to his drug addiction. Ever seen a toddler? Now imagine a toddler on drugs. That was Cereal Killer. Benjamin and Erica lived through many sleepless nights, trying to appease young Cereal Killer. But with time, love and patience, they managed to achieve some normalcy in their life, as normal as a life with a drug addicted kid can be. When Cereal Killer was old enough for school, Erica started homeschooling him, as it often happens in T@Ö#Ä3, especially in wealthier families. He could have been a bright kid, but he couldn’t handle school very well. He would get distracted and antsy and have a hard time focusing on his work. Erica taught him all about Glitter God, Satan and Glitter Bible, but it was all too hard to remember. Day by day Erica read to him, did work with him and kept coming up with ways to make the learning process easier for both of them. While it wasn’t easy, it was a blessing for Cereal Killer to be homeschooled by patient Erica who could put all her focus on him and help him find the best way to learn.

Cereal Killer learns about herbalism and being a fairy

By the time Cereal Killer started high school, things have gotten easier. Cereal Killer learned to find his focus through the power of prayer, meditation and a considerable amount of drugs, and now, he was ready to start helping Benjamin in his drug store. He was never the one to sit inside behind a book, but going out with his dad, looking for plants and making different drugs out of them was something Cereal Killer could really get into. He made a small garden behind the house, where he would spend his days taking care of plants. He found working on his garden quite calming, and he was fascinated by how different plants can have different effects on people. He started experimenting, and from drugs, his interest expanded to medicine and poisons. His parents were happy to encourage him in his new found passion, that could help distract him from his drug addiction.

When Cereal Killer started taking more interest in medicine, Erica figured it would be a good time to teach him a special fairy skill of faith healing. It’s a skill not easy to master, and would only be used for the ones closest to the fairy, Erica told him. Cereal Killer remembered that, and wondered if he’d ever find someone he’d care enough to use his faith healing powers for. Along with this, she kept teaching him about religion, Glitter Bible and being a good servant to Glitter God. As a fairy living in T@Ö#Ä3, one of his jobs was also bringing gifts from Glitter God to people living in Wasteland. These were usually food, clothing and other necessities people living there would need, and Cereal Killer was encouraged to bring them some of the medicine he made. He would also use this opportunity to sell people there some drugs.

This was also the time where Cereal Killer decided he could really turn his life around. He put all his focus on his garden, and found comfort in prayer and serving Glitter God. It was around this time he picked up playing guitar as well, as another creative way to deal with his struggles.

Cereal Killer gets stabbed

But it wasn’t all that easy. He was still very much involved with his dad’s drug store, making drugs and dealing with a whole lot of sketchy people. He would do well for a while, then relapse and deal with a plethora of erratic emotions in the process, that would often end in violent outbursts. Glitter God and Satan chose him as a fairy of death, the one who would kill people whose time was up and had to die. This seemed to be a better role for him than working with people at the temple.

Soon his new role and reputation got around town, and people knew not to cross Cereal Killer. This was useful to his dad, who had to deal with a lot of potentially dangerous people, but he was never the one to get physical with people. He would now send Cereal Killer to deal with those people, and bought him a knife for this. Usually this went pretty ok, most of these people wouldn’t cause trouble when everything went well and didn’t feel wronged, and Benjamin took special pride in always being fair to his clients. And everything would continue well if Cereal Killer didn’t one time accidentally miscount the money the client gave him. This triggered one of his violent outbursts, but you better be sure those guys were always ready for a knife fight which ended with Cereal Killer Getting stabbed. Luckily Erica was a faith healer otherwise Cereal Killer probably wouldn’t be here with us anymore. It was on that day that Cereal Killer realized just how dark place T@Ö#Ä3 is, and that his knife is the only friend he can rely on. When he finished high school, his family held a small ceremony to marry Cereal Killer and his knife as BFFs.

Time to find a drag queen

During his high school years, Cereal Killer grew old enough to start thinking about finding himself a Drag Queen to marry. Local Glitter Temple regularly held fairy meetup balls where fairies and young drag queens would meet, but Cereal Killer didn’t care much for that. It was a while ago when Cereal Killer first saw Tim in some magazine. He didn’t remember where exactly, must have been one of those tabloids his mom would like to read. He remembered reading some article about how Tim appeared in his mom’s fashion show for the first time. Apparently everyone was impressed, and Cereal Killer didn’t really disagree with them either. Tim was quite stunning in his mom’s creation, and so Tim became Cereal Killer’s celebrity crush. In time, this grew into somewhat of an obsession. His parents noticed and started to worry. This was one of the reasons Erica started encouraging him to go with her to fairy meetup balls, but Cereal Killer wasn’t interested. He remained fixated on Tim, until the end of high school. Then, he decided to risk it all and move to Ä+*4~ to get Tim. His parents were used to his erratic behavior and insane ideas, so at first they thought this is something he’ll get over. But this was not what happened. Cereal Killer was more and more excited about this idea until one day he told his parents that he is now moving to Ä+*4~ to find Tim for sure. He packed only the most important stuff, telling his parents he’d return for the rest later, and left. Benjamin and Erica had no choice but to wish him luck, and hope this won’t end badly for Tim, in case he rejects Cereal Killer, which was honestly a very real possibility. Cereal Killer never really thought this could happen, and couldn’t wait to get to Ä+*4~. As an obsessed fan as he was, he already knew where Tim lived. He decided to go all in and just appear at his door, asking to spend the night. He knew being a fairy will benefit him in this. Everyone knew that a visit from a fairy is a blessing, and he was about to bestow all his benevolence on Tim if he was to do the right choice and let him in.

Finding Tim and new life in Ä+*4~

Finding Tim’s place was easy for Cereal Killer, but he did get quite nervous standing in front of his door, waiting for him to open. When Tim opened the door, Cereal Killer began explaining how he only got into town and had nowhere to go, which was technically the truth. Tim was noticeably surprised, looking back to the red haired friend who seemed to have been visiting at that very moment. She just shrugged back at Tim, not knowing what to make of the situation herself. Perhaps realizing that a fairy will only visit a home with the purpose of bringing a blessing to its residents, Tim decided to let Cereal Killer in. He kindly offered Cereal Killer the couch in his living room to spend the night, but Cereal Killer didn’t sleep much that night. He knew it was crucial to stay at Tim’s home as long as possible, preferably forever if all goes according to plan. In the morning he told Tim it might take a while for him to find his own place here, as he only just arrived from Ä+*4~, and he might have to stay for a few days. Tim agreed. He even decided to take a few days off to help Cereal Killer find his way in a new town.

Cereal Killer took all the advantage of having Tim at his disposal, and took the time they spent exploring the town as an opportunity for them to get to know each other better too. They spent a few fun days in town, Tim showed Cereal Killer around the area and introduced him to his friends. Cereal Killer loved warm and sunny Ä+*4~, he loved the new friends he met and he especially loved the fact that Tim let him in his life. He soon also found a job at a nearby herbal garden. Fairies working there were happy to get a new helper who knew so much about all the herbs and plants as Cereal Killer did. There, Cereal Killer mostly focused on taking care of his own area in the garden, and making medicine for people who needed it. After working there for a while, he learnt more about medicine and ways to treat and heal people. He was also quickly accepted into Tim’s family, they were glad to have a fairy and a healer in their group. This change of scenery and new life seemed to have been beneficial for Cereal Killer in many ways, he found himself to become calmer and happier, and less dependent on drugs. However, occasional incidents are still unavoidable.

Meanwhile, Tim seemed to have particularly enjoyed Cereal Killers company, and was glad to have someone living with him; he never liked living alone. After a few days of living at Tim’s place, Cereal Killer decided that sleeping on the couch just won’t do anymore and asked Tim if he could sleep in the bed with him. Tim agreed. That gave Cereal Killer the confidence he needed to try and push Tim’s boundaries ever so slightly to see how far he’d let him go. He started inventing all sorts of scenarios where Tim would have to pretend to be his boyfriend, and Tim seemed to just go along with it as these became more and more elaborate. It started with Tim just having to confirm he’s with Cereal Killer to avoid having to testify before Glitter God and Satan about the crimes Cereal Killer supposedly committed, to holding hands and kissing in public. Tim never seemed to mind any of it. After all, it wasn’t all just Cereal Killer’s random whims, a lot of the time Tim would also benefit from having a fairy around to protect him from unwanted attention he would often get from people. When they were home, Cereal Killer wouldn’t rest either. He spent as much time as he could with Tim, cheering him up when he was sad, and taking care of him when he was sick. However, moles are known for their resilient immune system and Cereal Killer didn’t have time to wait for Tim to get sick on his own. Though he will deny it furiously, he did resort to mildly poisoning him at least once, and intentionally tripping him so he would fall and brak his ankle once, just to show him how well he’ll take care of him if he gets sick or injured. He would make herbal teas for Tim, and let him know about his faith healing skill, that he said would only use for Tim. Tim appreciated all that very much and was glad that, if he had to get unexpectedly and severely ill, it was at a time he had a fairy living with him. Once during this time, he also told Cereal Killer just how grateful he is to have him, and how much he had fallen in love with him by then. Tim would later blame the incident on delirium caused by the mix of sickness and the strong herbal tea Cereal Killer made him, but by then, the fact that Tim never turned down any of his advances told Cereal Killer all he needed to know. It was only a matter of time before they both would stop pretending that they are only pretending to be in love.
