Let's take a look at Nefret's house.

Week 1-P2: Where do they live?

Being an art Kemuchii, Nefret has a very uniquely styled home.
Going up the dark cobblestone walkway the elaborately carved gingerbread trims of the house become more stunning. The house itself being a pleasing maroon colour, with the trim being a dark grey that is almost black, standing out from the other houses on the street. A single door, made of wood that is coloured to match the trim, has a beautiful blacksmith forged knob with a small vine patterning on it, and a small arched window that resembles crown glass.

Once inside the real fun begins. The dark hardwood flooring, which is seen throughout the house, as well as the ornate crown moulding, adding an air of mystery to old styled home . A dark metal coat hanger stands next to the doorway, along with a beautifully etched dark wood bench to sit while putting on, or removing, your shoes.

To the right of the entry hall you open the beautiful French doors to come into the dining room. Vintage wood dining table and chairs fill the room, the table always set with fine silverware which gets polished each Sunday evening, as a large crystal chandelier hanging above which seems to create the illusion of stars shining about the room when the sunlight hits it during the day.

Following to the end of the dining room you enter into the kitchen. The stove itself is rather old, seeming to only be a step up from a woodstove, still works like new. The fridge and cupboards filled with all of the foods and utensils an aspiring chef could dream of, though she herself doesn't need to eat, so that any guests that she has over can enjoy delicious home cooked meals.

Through the other set of doors through the kitchen, you arrive to what was once a smoking room and bar. Having changed the design for her own use she made the room into a personal library, though she did still keep the bar because even she enjoys a a small drink every now and then. Luscious arm chairs placed around the room for herself and guests, with small tables next to each chair with coasters on them to place down their beverage as they read.

Passing through the second door of the library you come to the parlor room. More known as a living room these days, the room is decorated with old victorian styled couches and matching chairs, as well as what seems to be a hand carved coffee table. A small stone fireplace on the far wall, not that she ever used it herself, had a beautifully designed gate in front of it. She had debated removing the fireplace completely, but as some of her guests are affected by the cold she decided it would be nice to leave it for they would visit.

Leaving the parlor you are able to come out to the entryway again, which leads you to the unique hand crafted staircase. Going upstairs you find a few rooms, the first one on the right being the guest bedroom. The designs just as elaborate as the rest of the house, this smaller room looks as cozy as a bed and breakfast. A queen sized bed, with a gothic styled quilt Nefret made herself, a wooden writing desk near the corner with a chair, as well as an arm chair and night stand next to it. There is no closet, older homes not being equipped for such things, but there is a lovely wardrobe with enough space for any guest to fit their belongings. A small private washroom attached, which is also used as the public washroom when guests are over, equipped with a toilet, sink, and a mirror.

Leaving the guest room, the next room down the hall is the sewing room. Nefret's true passion of bein a seamstress is made quite apparent when you see this room. Multiple sewing machines, from an old foot peddle one to a brand new electric style, can be seen along the one wall, each with a chair designed to be the perfect height for her to use them. A few sewing mannequins in the center of the room, to get a better look at the designs as she finishes them, each with their own measuring tape hanging on them to make sure there are no slight changes from changing tapes for that mannequin. A large two door wardrobe sits in the corner, it's whole purpose to hold the plethora of fabrics she has, as well as any lace or trims.

The last room of the house, across the hall upstairs, is the master bedroom. Walking in it looks more like a victorian noblewoman's room, the main area of it having a small boudoir with couch, writing desk, chairs, and its own fireplace that also has a gate. At the end of the room there is a set of French doors, far more elaborate than the dining room ones, which leads to the actual bedroom. The elegant canopy bed, covered in dark silk curtains and matching bedding, being the focal point of the room despite Nefret not necessarily needing to sleep. Two wardrobes against the one wall, with a vanity set and floor length mirror both situated between them. To the side there is another small doorway which leads to the master bathroom. There is an ornate claw foot tub, with a shelf full of expensive soaps and fragrances on the wall beside it, with a hand carved reading board over it to read or rest your beverage while you relax in the tub. Featuring a toilet and sink, similar to the guest room's, the master bathroom also has a bidet.

Heading back downstairs you would notice that beneath the staircase there is a door, seemingly hidden from anyone giving a passing glance. This door, which is always kept locked, leads down to the cellar. To be allowed to see all the wonders that are kept down there, you have to be someone Nefret truly trusts.
