the same, yet different

god gave up her everything so that everyone could live in harmony

only for it to be undone in an act of true love

once the world was so similar, but very different

their was a mother, who driven by the grief of her daughters death, became a monster

this monster destroyed all life on earth, leaving two survivors

an angel and a demon

in order to save the world and everyone she loved

the angel sacrificed her existence and became god in the place of the one who left us

she began to reset the world, but made sure this time everyone would be happy

as she worked the demon wept, mourning the loss of her lover

"____ gave up her very name just so we could be happy, and yet she will do nothing but suffer! why must she become nothing for eternity just for our sake!"

"so, what is your wish?"

"my wish? I...I wish to save her!

so in an act of both selfishness and selflessness

the demon killed god, taking her soul to spare her from fate

this caused the universe to fall apart.

the peace's fell and re-arranged themselves into what we have now

as the two fell, the demon wept. as this was not what she had wanted

"____ was god, and I stole her from heaven...I guess that would make me the devil"

satan held god close as they fell

she never let go, even when their blood stained the ground

everything about the new world changed, only 6 remain the same, but altered

only the monster remembers, she patiently awaits her death

the mermaid has found someone to sing with

the warrior has saved her fellow knight

the lonely has found a companion to call her own

the bastards child hasfound a loving mother

the fox has found a reason to live

in their arms they all hold a girl in the place where nothing should be

in their arms she feels whole

but in truth, she's missing apart of herself

"so, do you want to save this version of the world?"

across from you sits a cat who knows you better then you know your own face

you answer

the cat speaks again, you can't tell the emotion in her voice

"in order for this world to be saved"

"god must remember who she is"

"and the devil must never remember what she did"
