Androcles' Character

Androcles's role within society, more or less, lies outside of it. Being that of a wizard and potion maker, he could do very well in the village if the village in particular didn't have a strict code against wizards within the area. It doesn't rightly matter much to him, anyway, for he's found he's very comfortable away from the village, away from the people. As he grew older, he found he'd rather keep people at a distance...

His contribution to society tends to lean more toward his potion making, as that's just about all he tends to really give to the public... though he does also sell various vegetables and flowers he's grown or gemstones he manages to find. None of his other magic is really used to help contribute with society, unless it's used in his potions. His other magic is usually used for personal use. Whether to get from one place to another or encourage the flowers to grow.
