History

  1. Where is your homeland?

Sasani does not have one definite homeland. She has moved around alot in her childhood but could probably mostly consider Eastern Eorzea to be her homeland as a whole. A lot of her childhood memories were in Moh Dhona or nearby, and her teenage years to later spent in Limsa.

  1. What are it's people like?

Most people she’s met along the way have been nice to her. She’s quite fortunate to have family in a lot of places.

  1. Are you aware of it's history?

Sasani is aware of parts of the history of her homeland but not all of it. After learning about Archidemy and the Arcanist’s of her ancestors she became curious and wanted to learn more about it.

  1. Are you patriotic or a social outcast?

Sasani is mostly apathetic towards her home, she isn’t a social outcast, but doesn’t hold strong patriotic feelings towards any of the places she’s lived either.

  1. What are your opinion of home?

Sasani holds the places she’s lived with high regard, she would consider Limsa to be her main home as of now as she rents a small apartment there and is registered under the city state of Limsa Lominsa as a residence.

  1. Where is your home town?

Sasani’s main home town, if you could call it that, lies just outside Ul’dah in Thanalan where she stayed many summers with her father. She also spent the winters with her mother in Moh Dhona, and has fond memories in most places.

  1. What is your home town's name?

Sasani’s father lives in Horizon, and Sasani’s mother lives in Moh Dhona.

  1. What was the area like and how did it affect you?

Horizon is not a fully cold and unwelcoming place, but there certainly was alot of people who were interested in making gil and not much else. Moh Dhona was softer and kinder, and she had a lot of fun times in her childhood exploring around there. From this Sasani learned to control her expectations of people, that things can be good and fun, but that she shouldn’t expect people to be nice to her simply for her being about. She learned a lot from the differences in people from Moh Dhona and Thanalan and it gave her a complex world view.

  1. Did you witness any historical events?

Sasani witnessed the Seventh Umbral Calamity, but doesn’t remember much of any events around that time. Sasani was roughly 20 years old when it happened.

  1. If so, how did that event impact you?

For a while, Moh Dhona became uninhabitable and so Sasani’s mother and brother decided to move to Limsa Lominsa permanently. After witnessing such loss on a catastrophic scale, Sasani decided to travel back to the places where her grandparents lived, the southern isles, and try to document her family history.
