General F.A.Q
How do i get a kaoriyme?
A: You can get your first MYO through our MYO center here! Other than here, we also ocassionally hold raffles and release adopts!
Is there a discord or active community?
A: Yes! we have a discord server here!
Do i have to own a kaoriyume to be part of the community?
A: No, feel free to join the server, world or participate in the events even if you don't have a kaoriyume yet! In the case of prompts, there will be NPCs available to draw, or you can draw someone elses kaoriyume with their permission.
Can i apply to be a mod or guest artist?
A: We occasionally open applications! We have announcements whenever we open, so look out for those!
About MYOs
Does any of the MYOs expire?
A: No, none of our MYOs expire!
How can i get a Unique MYO?
A: At the moment, Unique MYOs can only be obtained via raffles! We are currently working on other ways to be able to get one though.
Other than the MYO center, how else can i get an MYO?
A: We will be hosting events, raffles and giveaways where you will be able to get an MYO. You can also buy MYOs with our currency (wip)
Is crossbreeds with other species allowed?
A: Yes! But it's required to have an MYO of at least Rare rarity, to be able to crossbreed with other species, and you also need an MYO and permission from the other species!
I already sent in the form on the MYO center but i wish to upgrade it to a higher rarity, how do i do that?
A: Please update your comment and then bump it by replying to it, saying that you updated the form, so we can update your MYO!
Design related
Can i use an existing design for my kaoriyume MYO?
A: Yes, it's fine to make a kaoriyume AU of an existing character, just make sure you have permission from the original creator to do so. However, if you do make a kaoriyume AU of your character, it has to be attached to the character in question and cannot be sold/traded/gifted separately.
Can my kaoriyume only have sheep ears?
A: Yes and no, kaoriyume has to have at least 1 set of sheep ears but in the case of multiple ears if you have a rare MYO/trait, you can add other mammal ears.
Can kaoriyume only have sheep tails?
A: No. Unlike the ears, the tails are not restricted and you are free to give your kaoriyume any mammal tail.
Can i still draw my kaoriyume with open eyes, even though they usually have them closed?
A: Yes! you are free to draw your kaoriyume with open eyes, or a make seperate eye reference, the main masterlist image will just need to have closed eyes.
Are there any restrictions on colors?
A: No, feel free to go wild with the colors!
Is it required for my kaoriyume to have a sheepling form?
A: No, the sheepling form is optional!
About Lore
Do i have to follow the written lore?
A: No, it's optional whether or not you want to follow the lore! Just keep in mind that you might not be able to participate in more lore based events, if you don't follow any.
How do I know if my kaoriyume is a protector or guider?
A: Your kaoriyume is a protector when their lantern turns into a weapon/shield or any sort, and likewise they are a guider if their lantern turns into any other object that doesn't classify as a weapon/shield. You can read more about guiders and protectors in their official lore here!
