Crossbreed Lore
While the star messengers's that Koma once were are the most likely to become afflicted, on extremely rare occasions the entity has targeted other species, though only when they were found to be holding onto a larger than normal quantity of the same star material that causes star messenger's to be targeted as well.
These unusual entities are still often referred to as Komaruhoyo, though they sometimes manifest in different ways - such as without wings, or with other floating afflicted limbs, or other such oddities depending on what the original species may have looked like.
Obtaining a Crossbreed
Crossbreeds can't be achieved on any MYO slot - you must submit a crossbreed design with a "Crossbreed Upgrade" which can currently only be obtained via the currency shop in the discord.
Crossbreed Trait Allowances
Crossbreed designs are allowed to twist and color outside the lines of Komaruhoyo's current traits, limitations, and expectations, but these changes must be backed by an explanation connecting back to the species they are being crossbred with.
Only documented, public, non-personal species are currently allowed to be crossbred with Komaruhoyo. While we understand not allowing personal species may be disappointing, we do not currently have the time to vet these species should they be requested for use.
