An Aequor is a normal human being which has been affected by Aequoris, a marine parasite which somehow have tiger traits? Side effects include: visible change in physical appearance, increased dopamine and serotonin levels, increased strength and mobility in water, and possibly losing your identity.

There are 3 classes of Aequoris: Osteichthyes (ray-finned fishes), Cephalopods, and Crustaceans. These 3 classes are called standard classes.

Trait Summary

To design an Aequor, it is required to base them off a non-extinct marine animal of the classes listed prior. There are no trait or class rarities.

Compulsory traits:

  • tiger ears
  • nucleus
  • major appendages
  • minor appendage
  • tail body
  • tail tip
Optional traits:
  • gills on side of neck
  • tiger striped markings on back
Misc:
  • No restrictions to colors on any parts of the body except skin and sclera. Both must be a natural human tone.
  • No restrictions to pupil shape.

Overview

All features listed here are standard, more traits can be obtained through mutation items or an event upgrade.

All As long as traits listed in the traits summary section are checked, should be good.

Tiger Ears

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Tiger ears grow on top of the host's head and are purely decorative. It's distinct features are that they're rounded; similar to that of bear's, and that they have an ocellus on each ear; the eye-like markings on their ears.

All Alike across all classes. There are no distinctions.

Nucleus

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Where the Aequoris' main body resides, also known as the Nucleus. It takes the form of an eyeball with 2 nerves connecting into the host's brain, through the skull.

All Eyeball will be that of the respective class. If the marine animal does not have eyes, it will be an empty eye.

Minor Appendage

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Comes in pairs and grows from each side of the neck, just under the cranial notch. Should look like some part of the animal chosen.

Osteichthyes Any bony fins.

Cephalopods Tentacles or tendrils.

Crustaceans Pleopods (kind of like crab legs) or pincers.

Major Appendage

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Similar to the Minor Appendages in appearance. Except, these do not come in pairs and grows on the lower back, just above the tail. Like the Nucleus, Major Appendage only grows on either side, never the center. It will be on the same side as the Nucleus. Should also look like part of the animal chosen.

Osteichthyes Any bony fins.

Cephalopods Tentacles or tendrils for octopuses and nautilus respectively.

Crustaceans Pleopods. These cannot be pincers.

Tail Body

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Aequor tails are fatty and muscular with stripes. Stripes can be any shape or form as long as visually, they look like stripes.

Osteichthyes They may have dorsal or ventral fins. Theses fins can only start from the tail body itself, and not on the host's back as theyre part of the Aequoris, not human.

Cephalopods Depending on the species of Cephalopod, may have suction cups on the underside of tail body.

Crustaceans Armoured and jointed, unlike Osteichthyes and Cephalopods. Joints are separated into 3 segments.

Tail Tip

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Ending of the aequoris. Can be any shape and size relative to the animal chosen.

Osteichthyes Generally take the form of fins.

Cephalopods Generally take the form of tentacles.

Crustaceans Jointed, can either be pincers or pleopods.

Parasite Dominant Form

aequor_trait_sheet.png

Sometimes the Aequoris can take over the host's body. When the Aequoris is active, hosts go into a temporary dormant state similar to a coma. While this is reversible, most host dislike it as a lapse in their memories will form while the Aequoris is active.

All Similar to a centaur except it is a tiger. Aequor traits will remain.
