What are Aequors?

Pronounced Aye-ku-or. Aequors are a closed species created and owned by rinri0527, with marine animal and tiger features on top of humanoid appearance.

Can I make my own Aequor?

You cannot create your own Aequor without first owning an MYO slot. More information regarding MYO slots and how to make an Aequor can be viewed here.

How do I obtain MYO slots or Aequors?

Myos can be obtained from raffles / sales / species events / gifting / trading / shop. For detailed info, please visit .myo info.

Aequors are obtainable from Official or Guest Adopt sales / auctions, MYO slots, Trade / resell on the discord trade hub.
Any open official or guest adopts can be found in the TH world's character folders here.

Can I join the species TH world / Discord without owning any Aequors?

Absolutely. We welcome anyone whether if you just want to enjoy art, the story, or just be in the community.

Feel free to join the TH world by requesting membership, or join the Discord through this link: https://discord.gg/3nvYGjCwGE .

How can I check any existing Aequor/MYO slot(s) that I own?

All Aequor/MYO slot(s) are recorded in the species masterlist, aequor.neocities.org . Fill in your TH username in the search bar to see if you own any Aequor/MYO slot(s).

I still have questions after reading the F.A.Q.

Feel free to drop a message to any of the staff members: rinri0527, Valkyrii, shumaie, 134340zzz and Miauzi. Or, drop your inquiries in the #questions channel in our Discord server for more immediate responses.

Do feel free to check back this page every once in a while since we will be updating it with more questions as the species grows.

Designing
Are the different classes different rarities?

No, there are no rarities for this CS. All 3 standard classes in the trait sheet are available with any normal MYO slot.

Can I pick extinct species for my Aequor?

No, extinct species are reserved for mutation traits and event classes.

Are there any fashion requirements?

Not really, your Aequor is free to wear anything. However do keep in mind that the Aequor CS is in a post-apocalyptic / futuristic setting. Alchemy Stars and Arknights can be referenced for outfit inspirations.

Do Aequor colors have to match the animal chosen?

No. There are no restrictions on color for all parts of the body, except skin and sclera.

Can I make Aequor crossbreeds with other species?

No, Aequor CS does not allow crossbreeding with other species. However, exceptions may be made for affiliate species in the future.

Traits
Do I need a Different Eyes mutation trait for heterochromia?

No, all iris colors are unrestricted. You can also mix multiple colors if you'd like. However, scleras will need a Colored Sclera mutation trait.

Can I mix two species in the same class with a Hybrid mutation trait?

No, the Hybrid mutation trait only offers mutations of different classes. e.g. Salmon + Tuna is not possible as they're both osteichthyes. Salmon + Squid is possible as one is an osteichthye and the other, cephalopod.

Can I change / remove mutation traits?

No, they are permanent for now. However we do intend on releasing an item to allow for editing/removing mutation traits.

Lore
Do I have to follow Aequor CS lore when making my Aequor?

Not at all, you are even free to use the design in your own private worlds and other species' worlds (with permission).

How do Aequors reproduce? Will the offspring be an aequor?

Aequors are humans with the Aequoris parasite latched onto them, so they reproduce like any other human.
Aequoris do not change the human host's DNA and as such, the offspring will be a normal human child.

How does the Aequoris parasite reproduce?

Asexually by duplicating themselves, similar to cloning. They are quite receptive to genetic mutations from all factors (e.g. radiation, mistakes in gene transmission process, other environmental factors etc.) and as a result the offspring will be slightly different from the parent Aequoris. What exactly is different can be up to you.

Aequoris will reproduce when they have absorbed enough nuitrients from the human. Each Aequoris have a different amount of nutrients that they require, there is currently no way to estimate this.
