What are diels?
Diels are beings from oneirosea employed by Alcyon Corporation. They are housed in shells - proprietary mechanical bodies developed and manufactured by Alcyon - which allow them to exist in reality without possessing a human body.
What do diels look like? How can I tell a diel from a human?
Diel shells are designed to resemble human bodies, because we have found it to be the ideal form for their work. Diels can be identified on sight by the bar codes printed on their faces, so there is no need to worry about impersonation.
If you see a diel with nonhuman features, do not be alarmed; some diels modify their shells, or use techniques during combat that reveal parts of their true form.
What's the difference between a diel and a diver?
"Diver" is our in-house nickname for Alcyon's human employees. Both divers and diels are our valuable employees, and they work in tandem to develop new technology and keep humanity safe.
Aren't diels demons? Is it safe to bring them into reality?
It is perfectly safe for everyone involved. At Alcyon Corporation, we take safety seriously, and we only implemented this system after rigorous testing to make sure it would benefit the people we serve. There are zero recorded cases of a diel going rogue.
All diels undergo a panel of psychological evaluations before they are assigned a mobile shell, to ensure they have stable and non-violent temperaments. Furthermore, diels are always accompanied by at least one high-rank human diver during missions, and failsafes embedded in their shells allow us to deactivate them at any time.
How will the presence of diels affect my life?
Usage of diels will allow us to significantly expand our workforce. You can look forward to faster service, safer dreaming, and fewer changeling incidents in your area.
Am I allowed to socialize with diels?
There are no restrictions against interacting with diels. If you meet an off-duty diel, you may approach them and make conversation or ask about the company, like any other Alcyon employee. However, we advise you to avoid long-term contact with diels, as they are important agents who should not be distracted from their work.
How do I report an issue related to a diel?
If you feel that a diel has acted inappropriately, we're very sorry to hear about your negative experience. Please report it to their diver supervisor or your closest Alcyon Corporation branch. If possible, include a clear photo of the diel's face in your report for identification purposes.
Rest assured that we take such reports seriously. Our intel division will review the situation using data directly recorded from the diel's shell, and we will swiftly take action if it is deemed necessary.
