Ok this probably sounds dumb but It's an idea for a unique villain. It's been sitting in my notes for a while so here goes nothing...

▶A religion that doesn't support love, friendship, or any emotional bond. Touching is forbidden? (everything is widely spaced to prevent accidental touching. Must be born into the religion or join when really young. Young ones get an "isolation treatment"??)

▶Deranged king/tyrant that originated from this religion (was born into it) and one day discovered that friendship is actually great. He becomes obsessed with getting "friends" and holds people he likes captive. He doesn't hurt anyone, he just won't let them leave. He lures people to him with nice things (like money, good food, all fun no work) He even has people to do his sexual biddings, both male and female. He emotionally manipulates people, and becomes hysterical when people escape and begs them to come back. A very sassy and overdramatic character.

▶ King convinces people to form an army against the people who are trying to "take away his friends" (meaning people who are trying to free them).

1. Dionna and Ergoth meet on the battlefield. 

     a. She notices that he is severely injured and heals him. In return, he defends her during battle as she heals others. 

     b. Agreeing to be war partners, they continue to meet up day after day during the battle. As time goes on, they become close friends. 

     c. As the war comes to an end, there is finally peace. The two had agreed to be lovers---but it had to be in secret. 

     d. Since it is a time of peace, Dionna had decided to return her magic headpiece to the Divine Temple, the place of the Healers. 

     e. More time passes, and the pair decides to have a child. It was risky, but it would be worth it. She becomes pregnant with Vincent. 

     f. Dionna knew from the beginning that it was likely she would bleed out during childbirth and die since Vincent would be larger than a normal human baby. Inevitably, nine months later, the child is born and Dionna passes away. 

     g. During this time period, there was only one other who knew about their relationship and their baby. 

• Gothyria: Post galactic war, ancient advanced technology Orcs, elves, and humans all have different names  
• A long time after the galactic war, the crumbled buildings became overgrown with plant life. Once a water source was formed, people began to move in for shelter. The water was nasty and bog-like, but they found an artifact that could form water. 
• Large bug life, semi-intelligent, some dangerous, some domesticated. 
• Giant cockroach-like creatures that come in swarms and are extremely aggressive. Lightish shiny electric blue, long bodies, can communicate with each other using different pitch hissing.  
• Predator: Bat-like creature,  Long snoot, big nose that senses vibrations, smol eyes, doesn't always fly but definitely can. Large muscular legs, grotesque grabby hands with claws. Can spray acid from mouth. Very dark brown-green, thicc rough hide with thin long hair that sticks straight out.  
• Armor made of exoskeletons worn by people in the overgrowth.  People raise herds of beetles.  
• When Vincent visited the Overgrowth, he made a friend who gave him an "artifact" that could create water, but at a price. He had to do something important. (To be figured out later) When he found his father, he had become ill through contaminated water. He gave the artifact to his father to help prevent him from dehydrating to death.  
• He went on a journey to the temple of healers, where his mother's headband would be found. However, come to find out, the temple had been ransacked. So now he's out to apprehend them and get back the healing device.  
• Mushroom grove, multicolor glow in the dark mushrooms that give a zombie-like infection upon ingestion. The infection slowly takes over the brain, causing them to sprout beautiful glowing fungus. The infected creatures' only motive is to reproduce, and it can be spread through bites.  
• Domesticated devil-horned caterpillar with a tail and seats for public transportation. (Like a bus)

• When Vincent was younger, he was mauled by a large cat. When he got older, he had to face another large cat In which he battled and defeated. The cat became his loyal companion and battled by his side.

• Vincent is half orc, half human
• His mother (the human) was a healer, and his father (the orc) was a war cheif
• Everyone thinks that his mother was raped, because that's just how orcs are (not necessarily, but is a common misconception) However, in actuality both of them wanted to have a child, and their relationship was consensual
• The mother and father met amidst a war, and she healed him. He admired her compassion. Although their relationship had to stay secret, they became close, and she was impregnated. They knew from the beginning that she wouldn't survive childbirth, since Vincent would be larger than a human baby and she would likely bleed to death. However, they didn't think of it at the time of procreation. But she was willing to die for her child out of love for him and his father. When the time came, he visited her in secret. As predicted, she passed away soon after birth. He knew he couldn't keep the child without being found out, so he gave Vincent to a more open-minded orc whom he trusted to find a good home for him. Before leaving, the father gave the other orc a letter that was to be given to Vincent once he was of age. He was taken far away from the orc homelands and given to a human couple who had just lost their child. Of course, it wouldn't be long before the news spread across town. Although some were skeptical, most citizens were okay with the presence of a child who was half orc. It was mainly because he was the "son" of a blacksmith, which is a highly-respected position. Not only that, but orcs are known for their great blacksmithing skills. He soon became well known in the town, since he was such a unique individual. As soon as he was old enough, he began learning from his "dad" and became an apprentice. 
• When Vincent read his father's letter, he set out on a journey to find him. Except, when he gets there, his father is no longer war chief. Word got out about his interracial relationship with Vincent's mother, as well as their child, he was exiled for "dishonoring his people".
