GALATEAU

Galateau are a humanoid, kemonomimi semi-open closed species! In lore, they were created strictly for the protection of the inhabitants of Gnossienne, but have since branched out to doing other tasks. To determine their task and look, humans (or other species) must first offer organic matter to the dragon deities, or their Galateau servants, that rule over the continent (Thellorien). The dragons then use the prayer given to them from the humans to grant the Galateau life, and properties to help it do it's tasks easily. These tasks can range from scouting, delivery, baking, crafting, etc!

Normally, Galateau have 1 animal they resemble, a halo formed of their base material, a flower, and Auviir (magic/life essence). This halo is normally behind their head, and the amount of rings determine how old they are (each ring = 20yrs)! In order to complete their task, each Galateau can also be given a feral form, statue, and a charm form. These forms are normally used temporarily or rarely, depending on their given task. Truthfully, all Galateau have a feral form, but not all of them have a charm or statue form! These are normally preserved for protection prayers only.

IMPORTANT VOCABULARY

Auviir: life essence. this is used to refer to sacred plants, usually the ones found within the abyss that glow. it is also used to refer to magic. { ow-veer }

Sarossu / Sarabu: Galateau, or other creatures, taken over by the abyss. they can spread the corruption by simply touching another creature. the corruption can be delayed with a blessing, or Auviir plants being applied. { say-ross-oo / say-rah-boo }

Pthumæra: this is used when referring to the sacred area of Galateau and their fathers. whenever a Galateau is to be created, the materials are brought to a pthumæra and left there. (ex. a shrine. can be big, or small). it is characterized by the Auviir growing in the area, with dragon motifs being common in the construction. { p'th-oo-mA-ra }

Finaeli: used to refer to a Galateau's tether (someone they're sent to protect). a Finaeli may separate a Galateau from them using the blessing of an anciety Galateau, or a dragon deity. { same as finale }

CURRENT EVENTS

Grand Opening: After a year a few months of planning, Galateau are now finally being shown to the world! We're ready to see all the cool Galateau people can make, and hope this can become a wonderful and friendly community.

Opening Raffle: To celebrate the opening of Galateau, we'll be raffling a few Galateau to the public! All designs will be made by Ouro and Finn, provided a fullbody! Their feral forms will be entirely up to you to design.
