Al'Vishan is a realm between realms where creatures known as djanii reside. There are other creatures that have made their home here over the years, born of dreams and wishes and growing into something more. Myths and magick come alive within the folds of this realm. Primary residents of Al'Vishan. This species are a faun like magical race that some once called djinn or genies in the realm of Midgard.
Djanii are a Closed Species. Please check the visual references in the sidebar for more details on each of the subspecies. Quicklinks below:

A type of wingless fae with a bit of elemental magic in tune with the season they were born to. They are typically wanderers, but some do find that they like the djanii cities enough to settle down (at least for a time).
Sturdy and stout individuals with an affinity for stone and woodwork with their magic. They love the lush forests and deep caves around Al'Vishan.
Individuals that tower over other beings. They have auras of fire or ice, but otherwise are a low magic type of creature. In rare cases there have been individuals that have been able to tap into arcane magick and were called Magi among their people.
Just like you or me. They come from Midgard, and have little to no magick of their own. Sometimes later generations born in Al'Vishan will have unique aspects to their physical form depending on where in the realm they were born. Humans are extremely rare in Al'Vishan. They have no magical abilities of their own, though some have developed mutations due to living in certain areas of Al'Vishan for long periods of time. In order for a human to be here one of two things must happen. The first is that a Djanii felt honored in some way by their presence and they were allowed to travel back with the Djanii. The second and less likely option is that they stumbled through a portal (or multiple portals) and ended up stranded here. In even rarer cases a human and a Djanii or Beastfolk might decide to become life mates and even have children. Such children often find it hard to tap into the natural magic of the world. Such children would be considered as crossbreeds. Always with the human style ears, generally less fur, and only one cuff except in rare circumstances. Children born between a human and a djanii can become embraced by vampirism and transform a bit afterwards.

Other creatures from various realms have made their way here. If the species has a way to travel crossed realms or is space faring there is a possibility that they might find their way here.
The Great War
Many have heard about this event. In the year 1425 B.C. of Midgard's years, Chainbreaker rose up to fight against the people of Midgard to free djanii from enslavement. To free his people from a life of giving wishes to masters and getting nothing but cells, mistreatment, and ultimately a worthless death in return. The djanii slaves rose up with Chainbreaker, fighting to give their children a better tomorrow. There were a great many deaths in the pursuit of freedom. An alchemist among the djanii worked vigilantly on finding a way to unbind djanii from harsh masters, and in their death suceeded. The cuffs worn today are said to honor the sacrific of the Alchemist, and many other that fought for their freedom. The war came to a close in the year 1412 B.C making it a war that lasted 13 years.
Chainbreaker retreated to the mountains after his people moved to their own realm, cut off from Midgard initially, there was a time of unrest, of djanii not knowing what to do with their lives. Some tried to finish up what their masters had wanted from them, making grand buildings, and expanding the lands with a flourishing abundance.
Realm Creation and Growth
There is a legend of great sages that sacrificed themselves in order to end the Great War. Five sages, each with their own unique powers came together in the darkest hour and used their wish power to birth into existance the realm that the djanii fled to, and now call home. This is the reason that Imperium has 5 council members to govern their lands, in honor of the five sages who's very life force created all that we walk upon.
Hermati: a sage of great wind magic, said to be able to sprout the most glorious and expansive wings ever seen in the realms, was the one to call upon the other sages to mage the great sacrifice. Hermati had no family, and thus no heir to their name when they called for the sacrifice. They did, however, have many creatures that they cared for and wished with everything that animals would always be able to find their way here.
Terafil: the sage of fire, had a large family at the time of sacrifice, and bid each of them find their place in the new world, and never let anything hold them back from their true potential. They wished with all their might that the lands would always have places that brough comfort and warmth to the djanii that came after.
Yore: the sage of water, blessed the land to have an eternal spring of fresh water that flowed through the world, and brought life to all corners of it. It is unknown if she had any children, but there were rumors that she and her late master had a hybrid child hiding somewhere in the world.
Myfa: the sage of earth, molded and crafted the land. Their small model was made reality with sacrifice, going from a hope to a dream and birthed into reality. They are the reason for the mountains and valleys upon which all life resides.
The last sage is unnamed, but it is known that they were close with Chainbreaker. They breathed new life into the land and left room for expansion, promising that if any creature of the realm were willful enough that their will would add onto the realm in some way, furthering the land for generations to come.
Origin of the Frost Wardens
Many eons ago, djanii travelled between realms at the behest of their masters. The first to travel opened a portal with a wish her life ending as she crossed the threshold to the new realm. However, her death was not the last of her legacy. Her form had fallen, her master moved on, and frost giants came. One of the frost giants saw she had been with child, and pitied the unborn. He wove magick into the fallen mothers form, and allowed the birth of a unique djanii, Nikolaus.
This djanii, had a bit of magick inherited from the jotun that helped them come into being, and used it for many reasons. A few other djanii made their way to Jotunheim over the years, and the jotuns (giants) found themselves divided. Some wanted more djanii to grant them wishes, while others thought the djanii should be able to choose their own fate. Nikolaus brought together other djanii with special gifts to aid in keeping djanii from greedy hands. The Frost Wardens, as they are known today, are a mix of djanii and frost giants that gurad the portal into the frozen lands. Not only do they prevent djanii from being captured, but they stop the greedy jotuns from wreaking havoc and spreading an eternal winter to all lands.
There is a rumor that certain members of the Frost Wardens are reponsible for the lore that surround Santa Claus, but not of them will confess that such a notion is true. Nikolaus does find it rather amusing, and will sometimes craft gifts, seemingly from nowhere, for the pure of heart djanii that seek him out.

Now in the forums you can post an introduction and keep track of your realm currencies in the thread! Tracking currencies here is helpful for events if you're not on the discord. "Mission HQ" is where events will be posted here on TH, and will tell you how much of each currency you can earn for creating a piece or art (writing included) for the event.
There is a work in progress shop forum where items, special traits, & companions will be able to be purchased. More shops will get added as we grow and you are allowed to post up a commissions shop if you wish to accept WishGems in exchange for your art.
