At the Beginning...
Crystallians were created by a being called 'Mother' (Mother Nature) and they were her favorite creations. They kept the forest safe and flush with life. But one creature became jealous of Mothers undying love for the Crystallians and called upon the shadows to destroy them and sadly they did succeed three horrible days the Crystallians were hunted down by Vestiles and their Crystals were shattered.
Mother was so struck with grief she wept for the loss of her 'children' it's said that this was how the Goddess wishing pond was created. But she hadn't realized there was still one left, on the Crystallian that survived, Fay and she sparked hope once again in Mother. Mother's sword from that day forward she would keep them safe so she created the Safe Haven (Homeland) where Crystallians could be born & live without fear.
For her bravery and inspiration, Fay was gifted the 1st and only Crystal Runic. She was also granted the official title of "High Priestess" and was in charge of keeping the homeland safe along with four champions of each Runic Fire, Water, Air, and Wind.
Their Crystals
Every Crystallian needs and has a crystal. It's like there battery pack, without it they will become very ill, sluggish and in extreme cases, they could die.
Their crystals range in every color of the rainbow! Crystallians don't need to worry about their crystals weighing them down because it doesn't have any weight to them but if a human/animal picks them up they will.
life cycle
Crystallians have a very long life span where they can live forever unless killed/shattered.
Birth
Crystallians can't give birth nor bear children. A Crystallian crystal must 1st build-up/collect enough energy to produce their physical form. A crystal will begin to glow and there will be a flash of light and a Crystallian will be created (naked). Most of the time crystals only do this in the safety of the Home Land so once there 'born' Fay or another Crystallian will be there garden until they're ready to set out on their own adventure. In not unheard of for Crystallians to be 'born' outside of the homeland but its harder for a young Crystallian to figure out the world on there own.
LIFE CYCLE
Throughout a Crystallians life, they go through a lot of different events & trials as they grow to show how strong or smart they are because being that small they have a lot of different enemies and danger before they venture out on to the big scary world. Even though it's scary there are so many wonderful things out there for them to see!
DEATH
Crystallinas cant die from old age but from other causes. If a Crystallians crystal is broken and can't be repaired like if there shattered into peace. A Crystallians can be positioned by Vestiles and will eventually be drained of all their energy unless they're treated by a Crystallian who has Crystal Powers like Vay.
illness, injury, and healing
Crystallians can get injured easily even with there tough skin. They can get bruised and bleed but there such fast healers they never stay long and they never scar unless there Crystal is damaged.
They can get common illnesses, like a common cold, fever, hypothermia, supposing, and sunburn. These illnesses cant do to much internal long term damages though.
When a Crystallin in hurt or their crystal is damaged they can go to a healer in there homeland or see a traveling healer. There's only one crystal healer though, Fay shes one of the only crystal Crystallians who can heal most crystals.
There society
Crystallians Homeland is very open and positive but there are certain things they are a bit taboo. Like corrupt crystals, because they're seen as bad luck, there not banded or forced out but not very many places will serve them.
THE START OF A NEW GENERATION
Crystallains have been in there realm for thousands of years growing slowly, but they realized as new Crystallian were being born there was something different. The skin became tougher, they would bleed when there were cut. Their crystals were smaller than normal. Some became worries and wanted answers and 'Mother' answered. She wanted her children to be stronger and be able to leave there homeland without fear but with curiosity! After thousands of years of Crystallens being born in the same place there not as much nutrition and nurturance to make their crystals as lard as the generations before but it does mean that there harder to track.
humans & Vestiles
Humans
Humans will commonly hunt crystallians for there crystals to sell them. So it's a common belief that all humans and humanoid-like creatures will harm Crystallians. Elder Crystallians will tell stories to younger ones to be wary of them and to stay-aways.
Vestiles
These creatures prey on crystallian for there energy/life force to live.

Skills & Abilities
Every Crystallian can breathe underwater or a long period of time. Their gills are in there mouth/throat so there not typically visible.
Evey Crystallian can help wilted flowers become healthy and bloom, help a seed grown and heal small wounds of animals.
