What Are Mutations? Their traits are also rarely seen on Crystallians. They almost are seen as deformity (or strange) in their society in some situations but most of the time there accepted and see are gifts from Mother Nature.

Mutations are caused for several reasons:

• There are natural mutations like a Crystallian having anthro mutations like animal-like feet, animal ears, and sharp claws
• The last known mutation is when a Crystallian is born with a clear Crystal and will result in that Crystallian being born blind.
• Now there's a much darker mutation where a gem has been broken beyond repair resulting in physical mutations. Where the broken shards of there crystal are absorbed making a permanent solid form. But the braking of a Crystallians crystal causes them major stress and only a rare few survive this tragedy. Those who survive now have a crystal limb or a lard patch of crystal on their body. (this is marked as a Corrupted Mutation)

NATURE OF MUTATIONS
Natural Mutations

These are mutations that happen before birth and are classified as natural mutations.

Bilomnesent/Glowing: Crystallians with this mutation can have glowing spots, crystals, or markings 

Twins: To have twins you need to have 2 MYO slots and one must be a Mutations MYO.

Unnatural skin color: Crystallins with unnatural skin colors but you can not use bright neon colors!

Blindness: If a crystallian is blinde their crystal will be clear (mostly clear/transparent)

Mutable horns: It said a crystallian with mutable has more control over their magic

Color changing or mood-changing crystals: It's said that this happens where a Crystallian is born
near florescent rocks/plants and is flooded with magical energy.

MUTATIONS OF THE WILD
Natural Animal Mutations

This mutation is one of the more commonly Mutations. It happens when a Crystallin is born out in the world and is born close to certain animals grave or den. It's sad but the crystal absorbers the energy form the animals/creature's bones. When this happened a Crystallians gains animal-like traits like animal ears, tail or other distant traits.

Natural Magic Mutations

This mutation, in particular, is very special. A Crystallian is born with there runic, the very sours of the magic. Crystallians with this mutation is much stronger than others because they've had their magic since birth. As you know there are 4 know runics:

Fire Runic

Crystallians born with there fire runics crystals can produce heat, are heat resistant and produces a small light that flickers like a lit candle.
Their horns are also special, they almost look like burnt wood with hot embers on the tips of them.
To top it all off they can also see in the dark.

Air (Wind) Runic

Crystallians born with the Air runic are pretty much weightless and are very light on their feet.
You can easily pick out an Air Runic Crystallian because they're born with feathers and sometimes wings.
They can't acutely fly but they can glide!

Water Runic

Crystallians can live full underwater without any problems they can live as deep in water as they want because there also born with night vision.
There born with scales randomly on there body and webbed fingers and/or ears.

 Earth Runic

Crystallians born with the Earth Runic is radiating natural energy so much that plants (even if picked) can grow on them forever.
There tales and ears can look like leaves.

DARKER MUTATIONS
Unnatural Mutations

Broken crystals. A Crystallian can (rarely) live if there Crystal is broken but it isn't unheard of but not just there crystal brakes but there form. So a crystallian with this unnatural mutation will have scars or physical markings where the crystal was broke or in rare situations, the crystal shards will embed themselves into the crystallians form instead of trying and reforming.

How does a Crystalline become Corrupted? It's rare but a Crystallian becomes corrupted if their pure energy mixes with negative aura. It's sad but they are sometimes carried out by there society because it can weaken other's magic or leach off their energy. 

They can also be corrupted when a Vestiles prison is healed but no all the way . . .
