Is it really realistic to say the sprawling universe we see today, was created by... nothing?

Of course not. We know that first - there was the Starmaker, and her kingdom of Light.

Long reign the Starmaker, who with a nod of her head turned the empty expanse in front of her into a sprawling paradise, a utopia that one day fell and gave 'Hesio' its own chance to thrive. She watches over us from the sky, and one day we will return to her and be born again.

Ever since the destruction of the shining utopia of the sky, Hesio has been imbued by a powerful and ancient magic that allowed it, and only it, to thrive. Millions of years have went by, and with each generation the knowledge of its predecessor has faded, sealed away by three royal survivors. However, despite their pact, the mystical tides of magic continue to flow, granting gifts to those chosen by fate - and it seems that not all descendants of that great old world are content with keeping it a secret.

The world of Hesio includes both the previously named planet and its predecessor, 'StarCentral', with both locations holding a central story.

The world of StarCentral follows the Royal Soldier Andromeda, child of the Starmaker, as she rises to power and attempts to delay the destruction of her planet. While the 'main story' of Hesio follows Jemisha Furaha in her quest to unite the descendants of the Starmaker, and to protect the world from magical threats, the world of Hesio is a home to many, many characters, all with their own sub-stories - and most not relevant to the central story at all.
