We've reorganized a few things, and are trying out a new questions system to help things feel more accessible!

Due to all the chaos - the Trick or Treat event is being extended! Final turn in is due Nov 4 at 11:59 pm EST!

This is a very important announcement, so please read it in its entireity.

On Saturday, Oct 28, at 12pm EST, the Necrobie Server will closing down for maintenance and revamping. Any and all channels may be edited, deleted, or cleared during this time.  PLEASE SAVE ANY IMAGES OR LINKS YOU WANT TO SAVE BEFORE THIS TIME. I do not want you to lose your art or memes.

When we reopen: Necrobies is transitioning into being an 18+ Species.

There are a few reasons for this transition. There are legal questions about minors paying for art and services from adults. There are concerns around adults  and minors sharing creative spaces due to how different these spaces can be for them appropriately. There are Necrobies out there who are not appropriate for minor interaction. There are comfort concerns when it comes to different members interacting with minors. Overall, the mod team has made the decision that to makes this space safer for interaction and creation, it needs to be 18+.

Once the server reopens, we will have a form for members to fill out in which people must indicate they are of age. If there are questions on this, a moderator will reach out to the member in question for confirmation of age. This world will also be checked over.

What does the mean for Minors in the Species?
-Minors who already own Necrobies will not lose their designs. These designs are theirs rightfully.
-Minors who own Necrobies will not be allowed in the Discord Server or the Necrobies TH World and/or upcoming website.
-Once the minor comes of age (18), they will be welcome back into the Discord and World/Website.
-Anyone who attempts to sneak into the Necrobie spaces while underage will be permanently banned when caught, even if caught after they have turned 18. This is non-negotiable.

FAVORITE BIELEMENTS! 2.0!

The rules are simple. Please fill out this form and turn it in via Discord or TH Link no later than SEPT 30th, 11:59 PM EST (23:59 EST military time)! Follow each section's prompts, and have fun with it! This event is meant to gather what you all enjoy about Necrobies, and celebrate Bies as they are! As such, NO SUBSPECIES are accepted in this prompt! I know the ST sheet is not up yet, so please feel free to ask in our Discord's questions chat when you question a trait (hint: if it was UR-AO beforehand and not one of the released traits, it is most likely ST! But you are always welcome to double check <3).

This event is WRITER-FRIENDLY - If you feel that you cannot draw what you want in the circles, you MAY write the answers in the appropriate spaces as well! Please try to have it on the sheet for purpose of event completion later. Do NOT just turn in a document from Google Drive, etc.

All images MUST be drawn or described by you! No AI images, no Screenshots will be accepted! Brushes created for public use are fine!

Hello Shop Street!

We have decided to attempt an *unusual* version of a community raffle this month. Rather than recruiting only a handful of you to create wonderful designs, we want to include everyone!

"But Alyx, that's insane! Everyone?!"

YES! Everyone who wants to participate is encouraged to do so. Each participant will be allowed to create 1 design that will be raffled off at the end of the month. The design may use C-UR traits only and must be completed on the base provided.

In order to enter the community raffle, you must submit a design. This is so we have an equal number of participants and designs. You will not be able to win your own design, but everyone will end up with a new bie to take home by the end of the event.

We wish to see everyone's creativity help breathe life back into our community. We wanted to let you know that we have heard you. So with this event, we hope to honor where Necrobies started as well as what the future will always hold; the original Necrobie.

Rules:
1) Design a bie to Enter the raffle.
2) Design may only contain C-UR traits.
- No Specialty Traits (previously known as Adopt Only)
- No Admin Only
- No Subspecies
- No Mythic
- No Legendary
3) Design must be completed on the base provided. (Will be posted in the comments.)
- If doing traditional art, you will be exempt from this requirement.
4) You cannot win your own design, so don't plan on it.
5) Designs must be submitted as a comment here, OR in the discord server, by June 29th 2023. They will be raffled off to participants on June 30th 2023.

Please remember some design elements are triggering to others (I.e. Gore), so please keep the use of them to a minimum if possible.

With the recent votes on trait changes, the following traits have been re-categorized at normal UR traits so they CAN be used for this event:
- LED Eyes (full face not included)
- Real Paw Arm Mods (fins, wings, crab claws, etc but must match animal)
- Shaped Joints (simple shapes, no texture)

The following trait is now considered mythic and CANNOT be used in this event:
- Elemental Hair

This is a very important post! Please read!
There has been a lot of confusion over the announcement made at the last sale - that going forward all MYOs would include Adopt Only traits. So far, it has only affected one sale. To be very honest, this is not something the mods discussed, and has caused mass confusion among the not only the team but the community as a whole.  

Adopt Only traits have long been rarer UR traits that were only available on rare MYOs, as well as adopt batches. They are meant to be different and rarer than normal UR Traits. We do not want these to basically become "paid" traits you can purchase on MYOs when Button Store Kits don't have them. 

We have come up with two options, and now we bring them to you, our Community, to vote on: 

A. MYO Tickets will remain as they have been - Adopt Only traits are unavailable UNLESS specified otherwise on rare sales/prizes.
The AO will be recatagorized as "Specialty Traits" to further separate them from Admin/Mod Only.  
In return, three UR-AO traits, to be selected, will be recatagorized as UR, allowing continued use on all MYOs.
Specialty Tickets will be offered as prizes in events, in the return of Necrobie of the Month, and raffles if this option is chosen. 

B. Adopt Only will be dissolved as a Trait catagory entirely. The traits in this catagory will be separated into Admin/Mod Only traits (NEVER available on MYOs/GAs), and UR (Available).
Members currently holding AO-inclusive tickets will have four weeks (one month) to use them upon release of the new list and use the old AO traits. After that, they will be considered UR tickets.
This list will be finalized by the mod team, without input gathered, to prevent chaos and allow quick decision.
Admin Only traits will NEVER be available on MYO tickets!

Biemas Art Fight

Halloween comes to an end and we start prepairing for Christmas time! Biemas is always the most amazing time of the year, right? Well! This year we have something EXTRA special! Instead of Secret Santa, our normal Santa claws is busy with gifts so he can't come out to play - But our foxy grandpa Santa and local Krampus are cooking up the first ever "Biemas Art Fight". I will have another bullitan later about all the details but the winners get some cool prizes and EVERYONE that participates get's entered into a raffle for your very own CUSTOM empty necrobie! Exciting~
