Empties

Empty Necrobies, a trait of Legend. This is something most Necrobies, including Mythical Bies, have never seen. There are rumors that swirl about them, and most Bies are unnerved by the idea of an Empty Bie.

In truth, Empties are born of an overpowering sense of lacking. Like a black hole swallows all that falls into it, an Empty’s belly seems to have absorbed and taken until there was nothing left of an emotion. The first Empty, Soso, was born of a “lack of Hope” - others have been born of:
  • Lack of wishes granted
  • Lack of sorrow
  • Lack of dreams
  • Lack of joy
  • Lack of willpower
  • Lack of anger
  • Lack of regret

Empties mean no harm in most cases, no more than other Bies might - they are lonely creatures, often trying to fill their personal voids. Sadly, their sense of loss puts off many Bies from helping - but not all fall prey to this sense. Empties can find Bies who love them as they are or want to know them better - some Bies study Empties out of curiosity, others simply want to make a friend of the lonely plush.

Subspecies

78914237_s1P6lkndFsVRz98.png?1710043928

Hoodlum

Hoodlums are the first discovered subspecies of Necrobies; they are a subspecies born with a powerful desire to "differ" from their birth emotion and influence, even as they are born. As a result, these Bies manifest with the ability to hide their 'true' selves. This can be positive ("I want to improve myself!"), negative ("I don't like myself like this..."), or neutral ("I want to be different than I am") in nature - any emotion can birth a Hoodlum. While they don't have many "unique" traits like other species, their altered "Hooded" forms give them a whole new Emotion, Animal, and hides their face. They're a different Bie!

Hoodlums come with specific traits such as:

  • A Jacket, though this jacket may be a hoodie or a poncho or any sort of jacket/overcoat. But it must have some type of arm coverage and a zipper in the middle around the opening.
  • Hoodlums come with a Decorated Cotton insides or Cotton + 1 object.
  • Hoodlums have a mask that is attatched to their hood and when they are not wearing it, it basically vanishes until it is put on. The mask may be full, half, or partial face-covering, but they must have a mask of some kind.
  • Hoodlums have 2 forms. The Hood down which is the normal form, with the jacket sleeves rolled up and their face showing. The second form is the "Hood up" form. The magic allows the bie to change some of their traits. For instance with the hood down the Bie may have normal paws, and when the hood is put on the arms may change to Monster arms. However insides and face traits do not change; neither does patterns.

Glowbie

Glowbies, the second discovered subspecies of Necrobies, are very different from Hoodlums. They are born of toys that produce light somehow: this could be nightlight plushes, light pillow stuffies, even plush baby monitors! Known for their soft coats, pillowy bodies and tails, and the shining light they provide, Glowbies brighten their homes. Any animal and emotion can birth a Glowbie; they are as positive and negative as any other subspecies. Whether they travel by day or night, Glowbies light the way~. Like Hoodlums, they come with a Jacket or coat attatched to their body; unlike Hoodlums their sleeves do not change and their traits remain the same always.

Glowbies come with some specific traits such as:

  • A "dome" shaped opening that is Oval normally and to make it another shape you need to use a trait. Their opening is also enclosed and has floating and glowing things in the center. The glowing objects can be anything and the background behind the bie itself is often a space pattern or texture.
  • Full glass legs with glowing objects inside of them. The legs can be empty as well or cracked, but they glow regardless of what they are filled with.
  • Glowbies fingers are not like the normal Necrobie paws but their fingers look like tied pillow corners, or either translucent or opaque little bulbs.
  • They have a pillow case and pillow for a tail, or a tail made of glass.
  • A glowbie is often times adorned with other decorations, but first and foremost, they glow!

Necrobeast

A subspecies that tends to appear more around the spooky time of year, NECROBEASTS are Bies that reflect a more animalistic nature. Necrobeasts start off as a cuddlebug, the pet of the Necrobies! With a strong emotional connection or feeling from a Necrobie themselves, they transform into a Necrobeast!

This is the ONLY way a Necrobie can "create" another Bie without help from the KnitWit or the Stitchwitches.

Their Bug form, called Beastbugs, are larger than regular cuddlebugs, with more truly animalistic legs and features. Their Beastbie form is very beastly compared to others, with bigger bodies and more muscular builds. These bie's tend to have strong personalities, though they can vary just as much as other Bies can - they feel their emotions strongly, and reflect them just as strongly. They as a whole are very protective of those they hold dear. To become friends with a BeastBie is to make a true, lifelong friend.

Necrobeast have their own unique traits, reflecting their start as Cuddlebugs! Every Beastbie has fluff or fur material in their ears and around their collar, though this fluff and fur can change to reflect other materials (such as bubbles on fish, leaves on plants, etc. They all also have a half-zipped opening attached to their croptop coats!

Necrobeasts have unique facial traits such as:
  • Double Mouth
  • Muzzle
  • Beak
They also have distinct tails that match their Beastbug form's tail! These include:
  • Keychain
    • Can be short or long
  • Tassel
  • Feathers
  • Fluff

Necrogeist

Necrogeists are Necrobies that are born... different. These Bies are born of the magic of emotions that fills the world affecting dolls or toys that are already possessed by a lost soul of some kind. Necrogeists are the only Necrobie of any kind that can be haunted.

Necrogeists are essentially souls that have been encapsulated inside a Necrobie body due to the magic of emotion striking the item they already possessed. This is represented by chains or cuffs of any kind keeping the soul trapped in, as well as with a opening that's naturally cracked-shaped with strange sealants.

Necrogeists are filled with an ecto-filling. Slime, fire or smoke material can make up the Ecto Filling of a Necrogeist; this filling can hold 1 item as well, the example on the sheet being eyeballs.  Ecto Filling must match through all of the Necrogeist. This ecto filling is located in the following areas:

  • Neck
  • Arms
  • Insides
Necrogeists also have glass parts to them holding spiritual fillings. The areas that have glass are the legs and ears, as well as glass topped arms if that is the arm type the Geist has. All Glass Fillings must match. The fillings come in different classifications and come in various types:
  • Ghosts
  • Polter
    • Usually represented with different body parts as hands, eyes, etc.
  • Orbs
    • Can come in different sizes and simple shapes.
NecroGeists also have a unique eye type which is more ghostly and scary:
  • Basic
    • Comes in different shapes and styles.
  • Solid
  • Empty
  • Static
  • Wave
  • Insect

Techrobies

Necromiis

The children of Necrobies, all grown up! Necromiis are the fully grown, adult versions of Mimibies: they are full functioning members of Bie society. This means that they can join the N.E.T., hold jobs, marry, and have their own families - anything a Necrobie can do, a Necromii can too!

Necromiis have special traits to reflect their unique creation at the hands of the Knit Wit, instead of being created by Stitchwitch magic, and to reflect their heritage from their parent(s). They do not lose what they've gained from their birth as a Mimibie. Instead, these traits show that a Necromii was born of stuffing and love.

A Mimibie/Midibie that has existed for at least two months, and has at least two written/art pieces, can become a Necromimi via the Birthday Cake item! This item will be restocked regularly in the Shop.

Necromiis of different Subspecies are called as follows:
  • Hoodlums - Hoodiis
  • Glowbies - Glowiis
  • Necrogeists - Geistiis
  • Necrobeasts - Beastiis
  • Techrobies - Techromiis

Necromiis come with some specific traits such as:

  • A patch "opening and inside" that replaces a normal Opening and Inside. This will stay the same from Mimibie to Necromii!
  • Full plush legs. This is the only subspecies that can have plush thighs.
  • Any arm-related traits they inherited from their parent(s) carry over to Necromii form - there are simply too many versions to show in one chart!
  • Necromiis can have Mimibies of their own! By visiting the Knit Wit, the Mimibie Maker, they can contribute their stuffing to a Mimibie. They can only pass down Necrobie traits. This means, for example, that a Hoodii cannot pass down Hoodlum traits, only standard Bie traits.

Mimibies and Midibies

78912947_Nhaliq9Y7iv86yL.png

Mimibies

Mimibies are the beloved babies of the Necrobie dolls! Mimibies are not born, they are made; when a Necrobie wants to have a Mimibie, they reach out to the KnitWit, Courduroi! Corduroi works hard to collect donated stuffing and create the magical kits needed to take stuffing from two or more Necrobies, and magic it together into a Mimibie!

Mimibies are babies. They need a lot of support and help. Think of them from infant-kindergarten ages. They will not wander from a caregiver's side at this stage.

Midibies

If Mimibies are the babies of the Necrobies, Midibies are Children/Teenagers! These forms are more developed, and coming into their personalities! They gain hip joints, are more independent, and may start to adventure away from their parents' sides.

ALL MIMIBIE DESIGNS MUST HAVE BOTH A MIMI AND MIDI DESIGN!

There are banned traits from Mimis/Midis: haloes, cracks, tears. Babies are born by choice with the KnitWit's help, so no purposefully damaged babies will be allowed. Otherwise, any UR/ST trait down can pass from a single parent; two parents must be mythic to pass down a Mythic trait. Legendary traits do not pass down at all.

*Featuring Hibiescus' BonnieBelle as an example!

78912917_pdI2TfAEzaoBj9T.png

Glowmimis

If one parent of a Mimibie is a Glowbie, they might come out a Glowmimi! These Mimibies are gifted with the glow of their parent; their little Sewn-in Patch glows gently. The Glowmimis are born in their little coats, and these coats are permanent; they will grow with them. The fingers, tails, and glass legs of the Glowbie pass down to their children,, and the babies are beloved for shining softly in the night; it's a parent's boon to find a crying child without having the turn on the light!

Glowmidis

Glowmidis change a bit as they age; they develop knee joints and plush feet to help them move about! The keychain falling off allows them to explore more away from their parent's side. While they now have some awareness of their glowing, they do not have control of it. Often a troublemaking little Glowmidi gets caught due to glowing on accident!

*Featuring GhostlyTea's Pixie as an example!

78912901_EM4OrXWLQyJPtOs.png

Hoodmimis

If one parent is a Hoodlum, you could find yourself with a Hoodmimi baby! Hoodmimis do not have two forms yet - they are infants, they have no reason to hide their true selves! However, they, like Glowmimis, already have their coat at creation, and it will grow with them! Hoodmimis are rumored to be the most exploratory, seeming to search for things often; however, every Mimi is different!

Hoodmidis

Hoodmidis develop their hood-up form at this point of their development! They find a reason to hide their true form. It may be a sense of safety, a desire to be different, or even just enjoying playing another part in the game of life. There can be some pressure they feel to choose their hood form or their 'true' form as 'favored'; if a Hoodmidi expresses confusion or pain over this, parents are encouraged to visit the Stitchwitches for support for the little ones. Hoodmidis are encouraged to explore their identity, and should be reassured as needed that no matter what, they are loved well by their parents.

*Featuring puresilverAg's Holly as an example!

78912926_LrKo2ZlAfQBpUzj.png

Mimigeists

Odd little glassy babies, the Necrobies were not sure if Necrogeists would be able to use the KnitWit's magic, due to their odd creation methods. Courduroi believes that all who want to be parents should have the chance, though, and studied hard to make this magic a reality! If one parent is a Necrogeist, they can have Mimigeist children! Mimigeists are very quiet, the most timid of the Mimis; they often end up first befriending their ghostly tail, using it quite like a comfort item or snuggly friend.

Midigeists

Do not be surprised when the Midigeist grows; like Glowmimis, they too develop plush feet and knee joints to explore! While their arms can also be half-glass, they seem to be rather tough, which is excellent given the trouble Mimigeists seem to find. It may be just rumors and confirmation bias, but if you hear small giggles and a prank is played on you, it may be your neighboring Midigeist. Midigeists tend to choose a favorite person as well - this can last all their lives, and can be any kind of bond from platonic to familial to puppy love.

*Featuring xBelial's Mia  as an example!

78912942_hG5deKk8Mrg5vYq.png

Mimibeasts

Mimibeasts are nothing to sneeze at! The proud children of at least one Necrobeast, their parents are very defensive over the helpless Mimibeasts. They are born in their coats, with a half-zipped  Sewn In Patch, but while they might make little growls and roars, they cannot yet become Beasts. Their tails are attached to a keychain, but be forewarned; use the Head keychain, as picking a Mimibeast up by the tail will make them squeal. And then the parents come to defend their squalling babe...

Midibeasts

As Midibeasts transition into this age, they gain the ability to transform into their beast form! They look like very plush Cuddlebugs in this stage, though they do not have the tic-tacky little spindlefeet that Cuddlebugs do. They also retain their keychain tails, though still do not enjoy them being pulled. Midibeasts love to play hunt, be it for food, toys, each other - anything is fair game. They also enjoy snuggling, and it's not uncommon to find a pile of Midibeasts snoozing away atop each other after a long session of play.

*Featuring puresilverAg's Oleander as an example!

78912886_bMSpKT6DsnGLeWe.png

Techromimis

The techiest of toy babies, like their Techrobie parent, they bear very little plush. Instead, a Techromimi is made of metal! Their joints are bolted, and they love banging things together. They also have a different "Patch", theirs being bolted on. Techromimis are very loud, but have a reputation for being the fussiest about their bedding due to metal needing a lot of support. Never let ones' head drop for too long!

Techromidis

Techromidis gain more joints and movement capabilities. They are able to navigate and explore now, and they take right to it like a fish to water. Perhaps this is why Techromidis are said to be the most 'logical' child. They like to problem solve....though it may not make sense to the adults around. Don't leave out any building toys, or they will take it apart, put it together, just to take it apart again! Techromimis are constantly moving, and love to find new things to do.

*Featuring puresilverAg's Amber as an example!
