Welcome to Kyuurei city, the starry city at the edge of the sea.

Nestled between the mountains and the sea, Kyuurei city evolved with the world around it. Its history is long, stories and legends reaching back through time, all the way to the last fight between Reshiram and Zekrom. The war ended in truce and was replaced instead by a deep bond that rooted the heart of the city. Alethia and Berith, burying their pasts chose instead to join their territories and bloom a future together as not enemies, but husband and wife.

They took up crowns, bearing the title of king and queen and ruling over the city for generations. The old castle they used to call home now remains as a political base, hosting parties for visiting leaders and even offering tours of the cities history for those curious.

Through the advancement of Bolt Technological Industries, the city is one of the most developed in the region. It’s not uncommon to interact with an AI sales clerk or see an apartment building secured by an automated system. There’s even whispers of robotic helpers diving and playing on the cliff edge Bolt Tech is built on. For those who choose to keep up, the city is a world of wonder, constantly changing and improving with every passing day.

At the heart of starry city, the city center glistens beneath the warm sun. Its many parks, kept clean by the well funded public works committee, are just as well known as Amieland. The coastal theme park plays host to hundreds a day, offering rides and delicious food themed to the season. On the other point of the city located on the edge of the ancient forest, Kyuurei stadium holds countless sporting events, the cities sport teams training throughout the seasons to keep themselves on top.

Each day there’s something happening somewhere. The glistening city encouraging celebrations of just about anything as the city stretched higher into the sky. But, with an emphasis on keeping the natural world alive, Kyuurei keeps trees lining the streets, the forest beyond the city remains untouched while the beaches sand still sparkles. Denizens are encouraged to keep gardens with community gardens featured in many of the cities parks. Kyuurei echoes with joy and laughter, wonder behind every smile the city features on its welcome board. But, not everything in the city is bright and sunny. Lurking in the dark background of what remains of the broken Old City, a hidden force threatens to shift the balance. Why might be hidden, but those who live on the Old cities edge can feel something coming.
