| A.N. Group: A colony in which all cats were named after other animals. They lived on what would eventually be taken as SolarClan's territory. The Bats: A villainous collective predating the Zenith clans, at odds with CrystalClan. BraveClan: BraveClan was founded by Stagstar, seeking refuge from Timberstar’s rule over LunarClan. Originally on the island to hide, the cats of BraveClan decided to make their own path, breaking off from LunarClan, and not sharing a border with TempestClan. Cannibals: Far north of the Clan territories, there is a hostile cannibalistic clowder. Cat's Cradle: An establishment which serves drinks. Clans: Warrior Clans in which the members follow the Warrior code. Within a clan, there are; - Apprentices: Cats who are still learning to fill their role as a Warrior or Medicine Cat. - Deputies: Each Clan has a Deputy to succeed the leader. The Deputy also organizes much of the daily activities. - Elders: Retired cats who provide council and tend to the dead. - Kits: Young kittens who have yet to begin training. Training begins at six moons of age. - Medicine Cats: The healers and spiritual leaders of the Clans. Typically, a Clan has one Medicine Cat, who may have an Apprentice. - Leaders: Each Clan has a Leader who makes all of the major decisions. Most Leaders are given nine lives at the start of their Leadership. - Queens, Kings, Den Parents: A cat who is tending to young in the clan's nursery. Traditionally, a nursing cat looks after their own litter, but sometimes a cat will stay in this role permanently. - Warriors: The main body of a Clan consists of Warriors, who are trained to hunt and fight for the Clan. CrystalClan: A clan predating the Zenith clan, living out their twilight years unofficially disbanded. Lunarstar’s parents are from here, making it the grandparent clan in the area. Hal's Group: A hostile city clowder at odds with The Pack. HillClan: A dissolved Warrior Clan that was north of the territories. HillClan had a nasty reputation. Most former members have left the area. Kittypet: Kittypets are cats belonging to humans. As they are thought to be weak and pampered, many clan cats view them negatively. The Lattice: A cult following the unifying word of Zircon, they are at odds with the area clans, but do have several bases. Leaving them is no easy task. The Lattice has several ranks and roles; - Brother, Sister, Sibling: The main body of the Lattice. These members may have secondary roles. - Enforcer: A Sibling tasked with physically controlling or defending The Lattice. - Herbalist: A Sibling trained in medicinal herbs who serves as a doctor. - Patriarch: The leader of The Lattice, Zircon. His leadership is administrative, social, and religious. - Scout: A Sibling tasked with reconnaissance. LeopardClan: A Clan of legend, comprised of leopards. Leucite's Following: A cult which gains membership through indebting targets to them. LionClan: A Clan of legend, comprised of lions. Loners: Individuals who are not affiliated with or hostile towards a Warrior Clan. Unlike the term implies, many Loners are affiliated with a group. LunarClan: LunarClan was founded by Lunarstar, seeking to revive the Warrior Code. Being the oldest of the Zenith clans, they have a sense of self-importance, and duty to uphold the Warrior Code. Most other clans were formed by LunarClan-born cats, making them the mother of the clans. Meat Cove: On the far north coast, it is the only known growing location of a mysterious herb which cured an unnamed illness. MoonFalls: The Zenith Clans communicate with StarClan here. By touching the moonlit water, a cat is transported to StarClan. MoonLedge: CrystalClan communicates with StarClan here. By touching the moonlit water, a cat is transported to StarClan. There appears to be some damage... MoonPool: The disbanded Clans communicated with StarClan here. By touching the moonlit water, a cat was transported to StarClan. The current state of the MoonPool is unknown. Nadir: Designation which refers to CrystalClan and The Bats. Can also be used to refer to other fallen groups. Nihility: A mysterious afterlife beyond StarClan and the Place of No Stars. The Pack: The Pack was a group of rough city cats predating the clans. There was a hierarchy and rules, but the last leader, Dagger was cruel. They were defeated by a patrol led by former member Foxfray (Foxstar) after Dagger was found killing forest cats, but returned under their current leader Rose. Place of No Stars: An afterlife for those who believe in StarClan, but have done wrong in life. This place is also often referred to as the Dark Forest. PoolClan: A dissolved Warrior Clan that was north of the Zenith Clans. PoolClan was known for its traditional ways and misfortune. Rogues: Those not associated with a Warrior Clan, but is aggressive towards the Clans. Rowena's Clowder: A clowder tasked with preventing cats from falling victim to cults like The Lattice. ShadeClan: ShadeClan was founded by Eelstar (Eelblossom) in honour of her mother Hollowcall. Founded in the legacy of the Place of No Stars, and within the structure of a two-leg den, many are unsure of the Clan's legitimacy. Skye Bay City: Also simply known as the city, due to being the only one in close proximity to the Clans. It is a place where many cats reside, and is known to have a cutthroat, cruel culture. SolarClan: SolarClan was founded by Hollowcall under the guidance of Solar, in opposition to LunarClan. While SolarClan was aggressive at founding, the clan has developed a strong culture of friendship since. StarClan: The afterlife as described by the Warrior Clans, where good cats go upon death. SurfClan: A dissolved Warrior Clan that was once to the north of TempestClan. SurfClan was a determined group, and most of its members have left the area. Sydney Harbour: Ships come and leave the island from this town far from the Clan territories. TempestClan: The illegitimate TempestClan was founded by Timberstar in a move to conquer more territory. Timberstar’s law neither exceeds nor is limited by the bounds of Warrior Code, and the cats may do - more or less - as they please. TigerClan: A Clan of legend, comprised of tigers. VengeClan: VengeClan was a mock clan founded by Crayfish in an attempt to battle LunarClan for personal gain. It was disbanded upon defeat. WeedClan: A dissolved Warrior Clan that was north of the Zenith Clans. WeedClan was diplomatic and wise, and strove towards perfection in fighting techniques and medicine. Zenith: Designation which refers to the current era Clans; LunarClan, SolarClan, ShadeClan, BraveClan, and TempestClan. |
