MYO Guide

Angelfish have 5 distinguising features:

In order for your MYO Angelfish to be accepted, it must have all of these features.
You can click on each feature to go to its respective section.

Seaweed Halo

A 'halo' looking ring of seaweed. It is connected to the Angelfish's head, behind the base or on the base of the headwings.
Halos can be made of any material and be any shape/size/color/angle but must form an arc between the two headwings. Halos can also have extra strands or arcs, but must have at least 1 arc.

Halos cannot be dramatically altered, even with a rare trait

Mane

Obvious fur covering an Angelfish's neck. Sometimes it extends down the back and blends into the tail fur, like a hyena mane.
Manes can be any size/shape/color/texture, but cannot extend past the Angelfish's chest/shoulderblades.

Manes have a rare variation which allows its apperance to be drastically altered

Headwings

Two relatively small wings attatched to an Angelfish's head. Angelfish do not have animal nor human ears, and instead have wings in place of them. Headwings are located where human ears are on a human.
Headwings can be any shape/size/color/texture.

Headwings have a rare variation which allows its apperance to be drastically altered

Tails

An aquatic based tail. All tails must be aquatic based, and cannot be semi-aquatic or terrestrial based. Tails must have a noticable amount of fur on them, but cannot be designed to mimic terrestrial styled tails (i.e., a 100% furred eel tail looks like a dog tail). Tails do not have to be based off a single aquatic animal, so long as it overall appears aquatic (and not terrestrial)
Tails can be any shape/size/texture/color/etc..

Tails have a rare variation which allows its apperance to be drastically altered

Whiskers

Likely the simplest element; just whiskers. Always located on the face, but can be any size/shape/color/style.

Whiskers cannot be dramatically altered, even with a rare trait

Things you can do with a common MYO

  • Have any kind of feet (human, paws, talons, etc.)
  • Have seaweed halos made of non-seaweed material (metal, glass, gem, etc.)
  • Have prosthetics
  • Have up to 3 extra pairs of wings (all must be feathered)
  • Have up to 3 pairs of arms
  • Have horns
  • Have any features that regular aquatic creatures have (bioluminescence, transparency, etc.)
  • Be a crossbreed*
  • Have multiple natural tails**
  • etc...

Things you can't do with a common MYO

  • Remove major features (whiskers, halo, tail, etc.)
  • Have a non-human body
  • Have an artifical body

General Guidelines

If it doesn't replace a natural body part with an unnatural/synthetic feature, it's common. If it doesn't add an extra feature, then it's common. Things like fangs, claws, pupil shapes, sclera colors, all regular parts of an Angelfish, just with a different appearance, are common. However, this isn't a hard rule, so if you're uncertian, please ask!

*Crossbreed Note

Crossbreeds are more finicky, because certian traits of crossbreeds could be rare, while some are common. Again, please ask if you're unsure and if you're creating an Angelfish crossbreed with another CS, please follow that CS's crossbreed rules.

**Tail Note

"Natural multiple tails" applies to fish based off animals that are naturally found with multiple tails, such as squid. An angelfish with multiple octopus tails would be common, while an angelfish with multiple tiger tails would be rare.

Things you can do with a rare MYO

  • Replace limbs with unnatural/synthetic objects (glass limbs, dripping limbs, BJD body, etc.)
  • Undead/Dying/Body horror styled bodies/limbs
  • Taur/Mermaid body
  • Elemental body parts
  • Kemonomimi/Animal ears
  • Any style of wings (bug, bat, etc.)
  • Non-fur mane/tail fur
  • 4+ Pairs of arms
  • 4+ Pairs of wings
  • Multiple non-natural** tails
  • etc...

Things you can't do with a rare MYO

  • Remove major features (whiskers, halo, tail, etc.)
  • Change the tail from aquatic to terrestrial

General Guidelines

Rare MYO slots are much less controlled, allowing you to wildly modfy the form or main traits of Angelfish. With a rare MYO slot, you have access to unlimited rare traits and unlimited common traits. While rare traits allow you to add extra features on, they do not allow you to take features off. You cannot make changes such as removing the seaweed halo, making the tail a terrestrial one, etc.. You will be able to create any kind of crossbreed with a rare slot.

**Tail Note

"Natural multiple tails" applies to fish based off animals that are naturally found with multiple tails, such as squid. An angelfish with multiple octopus tails would be common, while an angelfish with multiple tiger tails would be rare.
