「PHYSICAL TRAITS」
「SIZES」
Equos have two forms, pocket-sized and human-sized, that they can switch between at will. In their pocket form, they are about as tall as a pen, whereas in their human size they are generally taller than the average person due to their long legs, but some Equos can be short as well! Their pocket size makes them more fragile though! Please do not accidentally squish an Equos or you might just have an angry one in your face.

「NIBBY LEGS」
The most unique trait of Equos are their pen-like legs where a large amount of their ink blood is stored. A matured Equos is able to expertly control the flow of ink leaving their nibs, but younger Equos tend to make unintentional messes. Their leg anatomy or appearance consists of three main parts, the nib's body, tip plating and imprinting. Most commonly, the nib's body and tip plating will share the same material (✦), however sometimes there are mismatching anomalies.

Left Example has a matte, metal nib body and metallic metal tip plating. Middle Example has porcelain nib body and tip plating. Right Example has a matte metal nib body and tip plating.
✦「MISMATCHED TRAITS」✦
Multi-Chrome or Colours (✦✦) are when the colours of the nib body, tip plating and or imprinting are mismatched. Dual-Plating (✦✦✦) is when the nib body and tip plating's materials are not the same. Dual-Material (✦✦✦✦) is when the nib body material of each leg is different.

✦「IMPRINT」✦
Most commonly, the imprint is around ankle-height or they have no imprints (✦), but sometimes they are knee-height (✦✦) or above knee-height (✦✦✦).
There are also different types of ink blood that an Equos can possess. An Equos will typically have the same colour(s) and one type of ink blood throughout their body. Any other variations will fall under 'Special Inks' (✦✦✦✦).
Dye-based inks (DYE) are very colourful and saturated but can be washed away by water. Pigment-based inks (PGM) are less saturated but they are completely waterproof once dry. Scented inks (SCE) have an alluring aroma wafting around it. Gradient inks (GRD) have a mix between two or more colours.
Glowing ink (GLO) will glow brighter at night. Thermochromatic colour-changing inks (THM) will change colours depending on the temperature. Invisible inks (UV) are colourless, but activate and glow when a UV light is shone at it.
Metallic inks (MET) have the lustrous appearance of metal and will reflect light. Shimmery inks (SHM) are very sparkly and have lots of glitter particles floating around in them.

Special inks (✦✦✦✦) are inks that don't fall into the main categories and usually have fantasy elements, or are a very rare type of material.
Their halos resemble a pen's cap clip and can come in various shapes. decorations and colours. Equos will always have a halo that floats around their head (✦), but if there are multiple halos (✦✦✦), the others can float around other parts of their body.
✦「HALO ANATOMY」✦
A halo's design (along with nib imprints) are like birthmarks and a way for other Equos to identify each other. Each Equos has their own unique features, thus, it is extremely rare for two or more Equos to share the same halo design or leg designs. Only twin Equos are able to have identical design features and halos (✦✦✦✦). There are no rarities for pen clip halo designs. However, the halo must not deviate from the general pen clip aesthetic or anatomy.

The feather shapes and tail in the example above are all common examples.
There are no rarities for the feather tail's patterns, lengths, decorations, feather shape and colours. However, multiple tails (✦✦✦), and special tails (✦✦✦✦) that don't follow the basic feathery anatomy are much rarer.

Example: This Equos has a very strange and watery tail! The water is real and wherever this Equos goes...there is sure to be a wet trail following behind.

Do note that pen leg colours should match on both sides, any mismatch in the colours would fall under the Multi-chrome trait (✦✦).

Equos ears and tail are feathery and can have various shapes, lengths and patterns like real feathers. Their feather ears (vane) are not directly attached to their head, but are connected to a decorative element at the base (quill). There are no rarities for the feather ear's patterns and colours. However, multiple feathers (✦✦✦), very large or long feathers (✦✦), or special ears (✦✦✦✦) that don't follow the basic feathery anatomy are much rarer.
