Hi there! Here we will cover some general information that will be useful to new and returning members to find their way around.
Does this group have a Discord?
Yes it does! The invite link can be found on the front page, joining is required to get MYOs approved and is the most regularly updated location.
How do I obtain a MYO slot?
You can obtain a MYO slot directly yourself via purchasing, or through events and trades with other members. Every member gets one free Common MYO Package to familiarise with the base traits! There are no deadlines for when you use MYO slots, unless they were a raffle reward (in which case you have 3 months to design your TU).
For purchasing MYO slots directly, you will need to head over to The Nursery - all standard and event MYO slots are kept there, and are able to be purchased for USD or group currency Teaspoons. Event MYO Slots include Common through to Ultra Rare base traits, and a selection of listed Item traits.
Occasionally events will be held where you can obtain event MYO slots via raffles, or as rewards. Alternatively you can try and trade for MYO slots in the #Tearoom-Trade-Ads of the Discord server.
Once you have created your Tea Unicorn, you can get the design approved over in the #MYO-Approval in the Discord.
What are Teaspoons?
Teaspoons are the group currency earned through drawing or writing about Tea Unicorns! It can be your own, NPCs, Moderator TU, or those belonging to others.
There are two varieties of Teaspoons - Gold and Silver. Silver are earned through any art or writing submitted that contain Tea Unicorn; Gold are earned through drawing/writing about Tea Unicorn of the Month, drawing/writing about the Theme of the Month, and creations involving NPC or Moderator Tea Unicorn. Moderators only earn silver teaspoons from drawing Moderator TU.

If I no longer want my Tea Unicorn, can I rehome them?
Absolutely - all Tea Unicorn are allowed to be traded and gifted to others, so long as they are members of TheTearoom. Tea Unicorn can only be resold if you purchased them originally - such as through Adopts or Customs.
Can I pay someone else to design my Tea Unicorn?
Yes you can - there are two options. The first is to pay for customs from the Moderator & Contributor team; these do not require you to provide MYO slots and sometimes items are included depending on which option you choose. Additional fees tend to cover outfits and Alternate Forms. The second option is to commission any member of the community to design your TU, however you will have to provide all MYO slot & item requirements for this design. It is best to get these designs checked over in #MYO-Help-Offical by the Mods before submitting through Approval.
What are Alternate Forms?
