MYO Guide

Regular MYO

Got yourself a Regular MYO slot? Great! Let's get started on how to make your Flurofaun! Regular Flurofauns are quite lax. There aren't many rules to follow, but they are important! Sections marked with are mandatory Flurofaun traits, sections marked with are optional Flurofaun traits.

GLASS PLACEMENT

Referring to the diagram below, a Regular Flurofaun's glass placement may add up to a maximum of four points. Each limb counts as 1 point each, while the chest and belly count as 2 points each.
Glass height may finish at any point in the glass placement zone. Halfway up the arm counts the same as the whole arm (1 point), to the knee counts the same as to the crotch (1 point), just the neck counts the same as the whole chest (2 points), etc.
Flurofaun Glass Placement
Flurofauns may have any type of animal leg! Cat, dog, wolf, etc are all allowed.

Flurofauns may have opaque or transparent hooves. Flurofauns may have coloured patterns on their bodies, though this is most often seen on "uneven" Flurofauns (e.g. only one leg is glass). Patterns must be relatively simple.

GLOWING TUBING

Flurofauns usually have the outlines of a mammal's ears on top of their head. They're connected to the scalp, and glow with the same colour as the Flurofaun's fluid.
Flurofaun Ear Outlines
Not into kemonomimi? You can place tubing anywhere on the body! It can stick out like glowing spines or wrap around like bracelets on the body.

TAILS

Flurofauns may or may not have a tail! There are two styles of tail - outline (like a Flurofaun's ears!) or filled (Like a Flurofaun's glass parts!).

ENGRAVING + INLAYING + CRACKING

Many Flurofauns engrave their glass body parts. Some Flurofauns even get precious metals set into their engravings, called inlaying, to really make them pop!

If a Flurofaun is particularly unhealthy, their glass can weaken and crack. Usually cracks form close to where the glass connects to the skin, but they can form anywhere. Fluid can leak from a Flurofaun's cracks, which is similar to losing blood but with less drastic consequences. A Flurofaun will rarely die from losing fluid, but they will be very sickly until they get the worst of their cracks sealed.

MISC

  • Regular Flurofauns cannot naturally have horns, but you can obtain horn serum from the Flurofaun shop using prompt points
  • Engrave/inlay/crack wisely! You cannot change them drastically unless you obtain glass epoxy from the Flurofaun shop using prompt points
  • Regular Flurofauns have one set of eyes and natural skin colours
  • Eye, blood, and insides can be any colour. The inside of the mouth is often fluorescent with the same colour scheme as the fluid

Unique MYO

Unique slots are far less limited, with their only requirement being that they're recognisable as a Flurofaun.

Some ideas for a Flurofaun Unique Slot are:
"Magical" traits, such as flaming hair - see "Magical Traits"
Glass on the head/face/eyes
Colour-changing fluid
