WHAT IS A FLUROFAUN?
A Flurofaun is a humanoid with glass body parts filled with a glowing fluid. Flurofauns commonly engrave their glass, from simple scratches to elegant scroll-work - engravings can be quite a fashion statement! All Flurofauns have at least one glass section and glowing tubing, which commonly forms mammal ears on their head.
Additionally, some Flurofauns have fluid-filled glass tails, or even the glowing outline of a tail. A Flurofaun's tail and ears usually come from the same animal (e.g. cat ears + cat tail), but not always!
Some Flurofauns even develop bright coloured patterns on their skin, which is more commonly seen on "uneven" Flurofauns with one glass leg (pattern on the opposite leg) or one glass arm (pattern on the opposite arm).

ALTERNATE FORMS + UNIVERSES
Flurofauns can have a non-canon feral form! This form does not require apprroval. Usually a Flurofaun's feral form reflects the animal they're based on (Deer for deer, goat for goat, etc), but this isn't mandatory.
EXAMPLE
We don't police alternate universes (AUs). Your Flurofaun can be in as many AUs as you like! However, if you're trading or selling your Flurofaun you must inform the recipient of any AU forms you intend to keep.
GENERAL FAQ
Is co-owning allowed?
Yes. However, only one user will be listed as the owner of a Flurofaun on the masterlist, and we do not handle any issues that arise from co-owning.
Can Flurofauns be used commercially?
No. However, if you'd like to void a MYO you designed yourself from the species to use it commercially, you're well within your rights to do so. Please contact BethyBooth to discuss this.
I love XYZ series character! Can I make a Flurofaun of them?
It is fine to be inspired by work you enjoy, but please refrain from taking heavy reference from already existing characters/IP. MYO designs that are too similar to existing IP may not be approved.
I think I found a Flurofaun offbrand/aren't Flurofauns just XYZ species with XYZ trait?
That's fine! I don't claim to have the most original idea ever. I've tried my best to make a species I enjoy that isn't too similar to any other existing species. Anyone found to be harrassing people for having Flurofaun "off-brands" will get a strike and potentially be banned. I do not condone off-brand callouts or anything of the sort.
This is just generic kemonomimi, why make it a species?
