Residential Area:
Within' Mantsu communities, you will find that their homes are as close to each other as they are their own relationships with one another. In most cases, Mantsu will dig into the walls of the cave and build their homes, most of which you will find to be within close proximity of one another, some even linking into other homes as most prefer a living style with those they hold close and dear. These types of homes are the most commonly seen among the Mantsu.
Of course, communities vary by style and choice, and with each individual comes different needs and spaces for different needs and things.
But let it be known, no matter where a Mantsu lives, they're always thinking of each other by the end of it all.
Marketplace:
They always say that within a community, there is always a beating heart that brings everyone together, no matter where they are in the world. This area is a sole example that stands by these words.
With different trades, and different skills, everything comes together in the Marketplace, where Mantsu of all kinds come together to show off their wares, crafts, and abilities.
From selling sea shells to medicine, to trinkets and trades found in the world above, or whether it be recipies that has yet to be shared among hungry little stomaches, the social heart of the Mantsu can all be found mixing and mingling in this one, large space.
With a shared curiosity, what more could one ask for than a simple taste of the dreams of others?
Forest:
One of the cave's most curious environments is the large forest found deep within' the depths of the caverns.
One would simply ask, how do you fit a whole biome within an area where no light can reach?
As big as the mystery has made itself to be, the simple fact of its existance alone is enough to peak the curiosity of any adventurer.
The natural luminecents of the gems brings a glow throughout the depths, and its mineral rich sediments not only effect the flora discovered here, but also the wildlife that live and play throughout their home.
Ranging from creatures only thought to be found in folklore, to fruit that brighten those who consume them, the environment here is truly a spectacle to behold.
But beware, for within the eye of the beholder, there are those that lurk in the shadows, waiting to shine without beauty's natural touch.
Glowing Fruit ((Yet to be named)):
A bright glowing fruit found naturally in the wilds of the underground forest. Due to the mineral rich sediment from the glowing gems, the luminescent trait has passed onto these sweet and sticky fruits. Those that consume them become a bright light source for a limited time.
Glowshroom:
A fungi found within the underground forest that prefer to grow under the light of glowfruit trees. Reliant on the minerals absorbed by the roots of the trees, these edible mushrooms glow a soft orange due to the trees they latch onto.
While eating them fresh make them quite bitter, it is found that cooking them turn the spores into a nice and savory substance.
They are often used for making broth and soup!
Carbuncle:
Thought only to be in mining folklore, the Carbuncle of the glowing forest can be found in plentiful abundance here. Taking the form of foxes, rabbits, and more, the carbuncle play and frolic with each other in complete freedom.
They can often be found snacking on fruits, mushrooms, and smaller critters.
