Hello everyone! Just a quick announcement:
I was planning on relaunching Atramenta with the new year with a new trait sheet (including new traits and moving rarities around) but unfortunately due to illness I will have to push the relaunch back a while.
I'm not sure how long this delay will be, but I unfortunately will not be able to draw much while I'm sick.

Music is something that Atramenta have been exposed to for a long time so of course, they have grown to love it, but unfortunately given that most of the tools used in the music industry are made of metal, Atramenta needed to find another way to make this culture fit their own.
After some experimenting, Atras were able to create their own small range of instruments using things such as rubber bands and boxes. Quite the crude instrument but it worked and it was their own, and with that, they were content for a while, but soon they wanted more. They wanted to host their own concerts and share their own music the same way that humans and the other species around them could.
This was the biggest hurdle they had to jump, there were many things getting in the way of achieving this small dream of theirs but with the help of specialized magic using Atramenta ink, they finally were able to figure out how to create their own versions of microphones and speakers.
Using sound amplification ink, they were able to create microphones and speakers. Using mimicking magic, they were able to study and copy the sounds of a much larger range of instruments that they could then blend together to create intricate and beautiful melodies. With all of this combined, Atramenta now had a vast musical culture curated to fit their own needs that, upon first glance, was no different than any other music industry!
Nowadays music is a symbol and beacon of hope that combined, Atramenta can overcome any obstacles in their path!

Music is an important art form that brings people together, but given many of the tools used in the music industry require metal, Atramenta have not been able to enjoy music in the same ways. That is, until now!
After lots of trial and error, modified versions of the essential production tools have been created and function through the means of specific music and sound magic using Atramenta! With this new development, Atras are able to enjoy, create and listen to their own music!
The birth of the Atramenta's own music industry is a great morale boost as it's solid proof that they are able to overcome any obstacle that tries to block their path!
