Can I crossbreed with Atramenta and a different CS?
Of course! Do keep in mind that all crossbreeds must fulfil the species requirements - at least one Atramentum horn, ink for blood, and a tail. I will take this on a case-by-case basis, especially if you don't own the other CS. However, I'm open to it!

Can the hair/skin be the same colour as the ink?
For now, no. This is to reduce confusion about ink colours and the mandatory traits. In the future, if it ends up restricting design freedom I might remove this rule. Either way, the ink colour must be obvious at first viewing.

What's the deal with ink magic?
Each Atramentum has unique abilities that are powered by their ink. In all cases, the ink is the catalyst for any magic, whether it is used to write a sigil or act as an arcane focus. For example, Monica (the species NPC) has increased strength and the ability to create extra limbs out of ink. Atramenum stages have some bearing on power level, with Concept being the weakest and Colour being the strongest.

Can Atramenta be children? What about growing up?
Atramenta can manifest at any age. They will age like humans until they reach an age that they like, then stop aging until they dissipate. For many this ends up being the age they manifested, but it doesn't have to be!
