Basic Fluxfox Info
Fluxfoxes are creatures made entirely out of types of energy. There are four types, and each fox is sustained via the energy they associate with. Fluxfoxes have a deep connection with nature, and in turn have many talents. Fluxfoxes are typically adept in fields related to their type of energy. Most are intelligent and inquisitive, though they all have their own unique personalities.
Fluxfoxes can range in size from dwarf sized to the size of a large fox. All Fluxfoxes (with the exception of the dark matter subtype) have parts of their body made from gas, most commonly their tails and the insides of their ears. With the exception of the magic type, they all also ooze from their pawpads or eyes.
Fluxfox Types
Natural Type:
The most common type of Fluxfox, natural types are made of and connected to energy made by nature. Their gasses are foggy, and ooze comes from their paw pads. Their growths can be any naturally formed objects, such as gemstones/rocks, leaves, flowers, ect.
Synthetic Type:
More uncommon than natural types, synthetic types are made and connected to any kind of synthetic, or man made, energy sources. Their gases tend to have a smokey consistency, and they also ooze from their pawpads or their eyes. They always have a glass artifact on their bodies, which they use to filter their energy as they are unable to do so naturally. These glass parts can be anywhere gas could be, or attached to an accessory. Their growths can be any object that must be man made- things like lenses, buttons, parts of machinery, ect.
Magic Type:
One of the rarer types, magic types are made and connected to magical energy. Their gasses are sparkly and they have no ooze. Their sclera are always colored, usually a color corresponding with their gases. Their growths can be any object, but they are usually very polished and precious objects, such as pieces of gold and silver, diamonds, jewelry, ect.
Dark Matter Type:
Dark matter types are the rarest type of Fluxfox, made up of dark energy from space. They don't have gasses and instead ooze from wherever other fluxfoxes have gases. Both their eyes and pawpads ooze as well. They always have blank eyes, but they can be any color. Their growths are always odd geometric shapes.
Undead Fluxfoxes
Undead Fluxfoxes can be born of any subtype of Fluxfox. Occasionally, when a Fluxfox is very ill or has a particularly bad accident, their bodies may change themselves into a more durable and long lasting form, causing them to become undead. Undead Fluxfoxes always have ooze, never gas. They have yellow pupils and monochrome colored growths, and any scars or wounds they obtain never heal. If an Undead Fluxfox is born of a Synthetic type their glass artifact will break, but they will typically still choose to hold onto it.
Fluxfox Reproduction
Fluxfoxes reproduce by each pouring their energy into a vessel, that will then turn into a baby Fluxkit. Fluxkits are small and fragile. They have large ears and paws, but otherwise look mostly like smaller versions of Fluxfoxes.
