Traits and Anatomy

Basic Anatomy

traits.png

A Miasmoda's most important traits. These are the basic traits all standard Miasmoda have!
A mutant Miasmoda may exhibit slightly different anatomy though...

Skin/Body

Since they wear skins to imitate the lifeforms of various planets they've infiltrated, a Miasmoda's skin can be anything!

This includes, but is not limited to: Human, Humanoid, Feral, Anthro, Part-Animal (ie. Centaur, Mermaid), Mythological or Magical (Angels, Demons, Cryptids, etc) and more!

Antenna

antennararity.png

Standard Miasmoda possess a single pair of antenna. These antenna can be anywhere on their heads and general face area, and sometimes end in eyes. Antennas can be any shape, length or size.

Mutated Miasmoda may posess more or less than a single pair of antenna, and can also have antenna anywhere else on their bodies.

Miasmermiasmer_rarrity.pngWhile Miasmoda are composed of Miasma, this fickle gas reacts quickly in most atmospheres apart from the Miasmoda home planet. It quickly begins to solidify into a substance known as Miasmer.

The Miasmer does not always have to take on a slimy, or goopy texture - It can take on any texture that can be observed on slugs or in nature. This means it may appear fluffy like a sea bunny, textured, spiky or even translucent.

While translucency is observed in some standard Miasmoda, being able to see distinct objects within the Miasmer (ie. bones, objects, nerves) is a mutated trait. Miasmer that is partially gas or partially/fully solidified (dried texture or stone-like) is also a mutated trait.

Some Mutated Miasmoda may also seem to have more than 1 type of Miasmer.

Exposed Miasmer may also be observed on other parts of the Miasmoda's body! Miasmer on other parts of the body can be toggleable or not. However, if it is toggleable, there must be a clear segmentation (e.g. stitches) or opening showing where the Miasmer comes from when toggled.

Frontal Scar & Back Opening

SCAR_RARITY.png

Standard Miasmoda have a frontal scar - from when their skin was obtained - and a back opening where they put on the skin. The frontal scar is usually Y-shaped and can be shown as a partially healed scar, a mark, a stitched up opening, or any other number of possibilities. The back opening is usually more clothing-like, and can be decorated with a zip, ribbon lacing, stitching, etc.

Mutated Miasmoda may not possess a frontal scar, a back opening, or both! These rare creatures seem to have somehow evolved to not need these things...

Tail & ShellTAIL_RARITY.png

All Miasmoda have a tail - made of Miasmer - and a shell at the base of it. Their tails can be hidden in their shells. They do so from time to time to avoid their tails fully solidifying and drying out - as the atmosphere inside the shell can hydrate them. Shells can take on any form. so as long as a tail can reasonably be hidden within it - Some examples are: natural shells (conch, seashell, etc), pillows, cups, mecha, etc. Their tails can also take on any length, size and number.

Mutated Miasmoda sometimes do not have shells and seem to function fine without it!

Undisguised FormsIllustration4.png

Undisguised forms can take on any shape, size, and appearance, so as long as they look vaguely slug-like! Have fun!
