Physical Appearance

• Long brown hair that trails down past hips

Clothing Style

The Gal's signature look consists of a green tank top with a white shirt underneath that has a long sleeve on the left arm. The sleeve as a purple pocket on the outer upper arm below the shoulder, and the green top has a purple neckline and a pocket across the midriff like a hoodie. The pockets have purple lining on the openings. She also wears matching green pants with purple straps, pockets, and purple inner lining that shows since the pant legs are rolled up slightly (because she's a short stack). She wears green and purple boots with very short heels to make her seem a little taller.

On her right arm, she wears two gold colored metal armbands, one around her bicep and the other around her forearm. These bands are very study and capable of deflecting rifting and even potentially bullets (but she's too uncoordinated to pull a Wonder Woman with them). She also wears a handmade bracelet with blue and white beads (alternating two of each color in a pattern). She rarely takes off her white glass pendant with the Lyte symbol on it.

In general, the Gal tends to dress relatively casually when at school. At first she tends to not be too ambitious with her outfits, usually ranging from simple to moderately cute depending on the occasion. As she gets older she is more comfortable with a wider variety of styles, and in general she isn't too picky about what colors she chooses. It is obvious she prefers colors like purple, blue, green, or pink, and she doesn't wear much orange despite not particularly disliking the color. She tends to dress modestly in all occasions, and she only ventures out a tiny bit more when she's older, but even then she's not too crazy about it.

Personality

Nicole is a friendly and intelligent gal who tends to be quiet and polite around strangers and acquaintances and an energetic weirdo around her friends. First impressions of her tend to paint her as an unassuming yet well behaved young lady who is a typical high-ability student and comes off as "mature for her age." She prefers to maintain a respectful and "good girl" image toward general people she encounters, particularly authority figures, and she only really opens up toward those who take the time to befriend her. Although always kind and helpful toward others, she's a bit slow to make friends, but she's very loyal toward the friends she does have. Her friends consider her to be a bit ridiculous and quirky, and she tends to be rather spontaneous with her sense of humor. While around her closest friends, she seems like a loud spaz since her energy tends to magnify around them, and she's known for being extremely clumsy (especially around Calik, who only makes things worse with his own tendency to crash into things). She tends to be a little shy around strangers and is more comfortable following others she already trusts into social or unfamiliar situations. 

Abilities

• Lyte rifting - rank 2/5, can increase temporarily to deity-like levels when channeling the Valkyrie Skye
• Darclyte rifting - can only utilize with Darian
• Can sometimes fly with Lyte elemental wings or hover by rifting, but usually needs Darian to help her start and stabilize
• Skilled at playing the clarinet
• Okay at playing the keyboard, although she can't read piano music and has to memorize songs
• Spontaneously skilled at singing and dancing whenever a musical number pops up

Backstory

Nicole is a simple gal with a not so simple life. Early in her life her family moved around relatively frequently since her father was in the military, so she was used to traveling around a lot until they finally settled in Nebraska. Before this, she met Darian Darkwing by chance on her 6th birthday, and after settling down she realized he had also moved to the same neighborhood. Nicole only knew her family settled here because she and her sister were invited to attend the Hateulots private school system due to their potential for rifting, and apparently Darian was also a rifter of some kind. Although he was a grade higher than her in school, the two became close friends growing up.

The Gal went by excelling in her classes, although she wasn't successful in discovering her rifting potential quite yet. This changes when she's 13 years old and she get entangled in Darian's destiny and the fate of the Eternity.
