Physical Appearance

• Medium length dirty blond hair, with long bangs over right eye
• Green eyes
• Somewhat yellow-ish/olive toned skin with a decent tan
• Tall in height
• Physically fit with a slender/somewhat scrappy build
• Red markings appear on his cheeks, forehead, and backs of his hands when channeling his Poyson rifting, but not his Watyr rifting
• Pierced ears

Clothing Style

Jethro has two distinct styles he tends to swap between, one being formal for his role as a Uniselian diplomat and the other very casual when off the job. For his formal wear, he commonly wears a white dress shirt with black dress pants along with a dark green military styled coat. He tends to wear a few badges and insignias on the coat along with cufflinks, gloves, a belt, and dark green shin high boots. He also tends to wear a dark green or black headband to keep his hair back (rather ineffectually since his bangs cover his eye, the dork) and simple stud earrings. He will also sometimes wear a beige and light green scarf in cooler weather or green-lensed sunglasses on sunny days.

His casual style usually consists of a black tank top with jeans or shorts. He usually doesn't wear shoes and just has cloth wraps around his feet and ankles if he can get away with it, and he'll usually wear black wooden bracelets with green and yellow patterns. He still wears his headband, a belt if he's wearing jeans, and he tends to wear small green hoop earrings. However, Jethro has various styles he's willing to try out for different occasions, although he almost always tends to have green implemented in his color scheme.

Personality

Jethro is a mellow and friendly man with an optimistic outlook on life and a love of taking things one step at a time to enjoy his experiences. First impressions will paint him as a rather charming and social person who has a chill and easy to approach demeanor. He tends to keep himself very calm and collected when on the job, but he can get more energetic and silly when in casual situations while not working. He dislikes conflict and aggressive behavior, and he always tries to mediate or defuse situations when needed, although he can sometimes get himself into trouble by doing this since he has a hard time walking away from situations where he feels like he could do something to help. When around his friends, he tends to be light-hearted and joking, and most of them consider him to come off as a chill beach goer by how often he visits the ocean in his spare time. Due to his mellow attitude and desire to keep the peace, his friends tend to jokingly call him a "dang hippie."

Jethro has a deep love for frogs and can get overly excited about them like a little kid surrounded by puppies. His best frog buddy is a happy little fellow named Greg that tends to sit on his head most of the time. Jethro looks after him very carefully and tends to get flustered if he doesn't know where Greg is. He also loves being outdoors when it's humid or damp, and he very much loves walking/playing out in the rain. Jethro doesn't like dry weather/environments very much though, and he clearly slows down and becomes less cheery when stuck in a dry heat. He's very fond of warm days on the beach though, and since Uniselias isn't too far from the coast he goes there often, usually with Akwella and Greg. He's a very good swimmer, and he's relatively skilled at surfing now that Akwella has been forcing him to learn from her.

Abilities

• Highly skilled at slight of hand and pickpocketing (although he's not entirely sure why or how he has this skill)
• A strong swimmer and capable of breathing underwater with his rifting (unable to do so if his rifting is disabled, but he still is capable of holding his breath for a long while)

Strengths

• Optimistic, compassionate, diplomatic, and down to earth
• Charming, charismatic, and can be very eloquent when working
• Peaceful, mellow, and easy to approach/get along with
• Dexterous, flexible, loyal, and supportive

Weaknesses

• Tends to get himself into trouble since he always tries to stand up for others or diffuse conflicts
• As much as he stands up for others, he has trouble doing so for himself and can't seem to remove toxic people from his life
• Has frequent headaches/migraines on various triggers, most likely related to traumatic memory loss from his past
• Can't seem to say no to people when they make requests of him and tends to put himself down if he thinks he's disappointed anyone

Backstory

Jethro was a Sakavist Academy student born into the system. His history involving the institution is classified.

His only known history starts after an Enlightened ship was overtaken on Doobutsu Tenshi by Uniselian fighters. Jethro was found imprisoned inside the vessel, and he had only hazy memories of how he got there. Due to how many injuries he had sustained while imprisoned, he may have blotted out the memories if they were associated with how he was tortured. He was taken to Uniselias to recover, and he has been living there since.

Jethro studies under Master Maco Tesoto and has learned about their society, laws, and politics. He is currently a public spokesman for the Uniselian government and Counsel, and he serves as a diplomat, sometimes for other cities and regions, but mostly for other planets entirely. Although he is still curious about the life and experiences from his childhood he has forgotten, it isn’t until he’s swept up in a Memoiran conflict that he’s forced to face his blotted-out past.
