rue is a witch with a bit of a knack for necromancy, but most of all, she loves dinosaurs. rue got her degree in paleontology, passing with flying colors, carried by pure passion. somewhat of a shy girl, having had the reputation of the ‘nerd’ in class all her life. she’s started embracing it a bit, honestly! after all, nerd girls have appeal
… in some circles.
rue, being the daughter of a witch (a well-known necromancer at that), has had quite the thorough introduction to the field of magic. surely, she will only use this power for good! she’ll, respectfully, not let you be the judge of that. rue has had quite the respectable job at a museum, reconstructing and preserving fossils behind the scenes. unbeknownst to her employers, she was smuggling the tiniest piece of fossil dust to her own house as she studies, hoping to do the impossible: resurrect a dinosaur.
a misstep in the summoning, however, created a fatal mistake. the spirit of the massive prehistoric beast she was trying to summon took a hold on her own, and she made quite the drastic transformation. growing to 9“ in height, and morphing in shape to match what used to be her favorite dinosaur. now she’s her own favorite dinosaur? how cool is that?! somehow, she didn’t even get fired from her job! and her sheer existence makes nerds who don’t believe in feathered dinosaurs mad! life is good, other than her weekly food expenses skyrocketing.
