Happy Acorn Squash Twin

one of the cricket quee’s attendants, alongside his sister. the happy twin is the more responsible, practical of the two, busying himself with court happenings and anything else that might need doing. a happy-go-lucky busybody, and much more than simply an entertainer! in fact, it may be for the best he has taken up other jobs. the queen doesn’t… seem to appreciate his style much. perhaps a bit out of place for the autumn court, he brings some unexpected joy to the otherwise gloomy court, which is welcome and cathartic to some, but horrendously annoying to others. not that he minds, though! he’s simply being himself, all there is to it!

the complete opposite of his sister. the happy twin seems to always find something to smile about, whether it be the turning of the seasons, or a pleasant anecdote. he speaks in melody and rhyme, aiming for nothing than to bring good cheer. he has a talent for finding the little things in life that make it all worthwhile, and sees no use in dwelling what has passed. and what is yet to come. a man who truly lives in the moment, intending to make every day his best. but do not mistake his reckless positivity for naïveté; he is well aware of the struggles of others, but simply finds it more fruitful to approach them with care and hope, than drag anyone further in the depths.
