Profile
Kou is an eccentric person. Very outspoken and dramatic, they tend to attract people to themselves easily, and repel them just as much. They like stirring meaningless arguments for fun, and they definitely use everything they can at their disposal when it comes to things like that. He's someone who's voice goes pretty far; meaning that he tends to spread rumors or simply false information. Kou is often responsible for many things or drama that goes on, but never leaves a trace. He's almost obsessive with things that he finds important, having a weird sense of morality. On top of that, Kou is incredibly judgemental and typically only cares about his own self interest. If someone isn't of use to him, then he's not interested in developing their relationship further. It's rare that he would ever have someone that he'd truly call a friend.
Kou's a competitive guy. He strives to be on top of everybody else whether it be grades, social standing, or sports. He can't stand losing. The things they say can sometimes be taken the wrong way considering they have no proper tone that's easy to read, but they find it kind of funny. If something they say is taken as them flirting or arguing with someone, they don't really care. While they're people-smart, Kou is not very good at understanding their own feelings, and neglects themselves in that way. They're almost oblivious to themselves and the meanings that their thoughts have. It's especially difficult since even when people tell them about the feelings they make so obvious, Kou also does not exactly believe them. Kou always has to finish whatever he starts. Fights, assignments, arguments, it's something that he can't stand to keep open-ended. He's rather determined in that way, actually. And for sure an annoyance.

- EMINENCE
- "VITALITY" — Kou's eminence is the ability to give and take energy. It's a very on the nose name, and something easy to explain. Though, Kou usually keeps his eminence a secret; as he likes being able to use it without anybody realizing that he's doing it.
- Kou's eminence works by touch. When he touches people or objects, he can choose to either take their energy for himself, or give what he has to something else. Someone affected by Kou's eminence negatively will feel sluggish and tired, to the point where they may find themselves falling in and out of consciousness if he uses it to that point. Kou typically uses his eminence for himself during any situation he finds himself needing some kind of charge. Using his eminence positively results in sharper reflexes and general awakeness, something that Kou finds especially useful.
- With vitality, Kou is basically a battery. They can be used to charge phones, laptops, just about anything if it's touching them in some manner. Though, that does require using his own energy to do in the first place. When Kou themselves is low energy, it's often that technology and electronics around them will be malfunctioning in some manner, typically as a result of Kou manifesting their eminence accidentally. They're used to using it, and not so used to the feeling of being sluggish or very tired; which frankly annoys them.
- When they've overused their eminence too much, Kou's body will activate a failsafe; which simply makes them pass out anywhere they are! It's happened in class, home, hallways.. they once hit their head into a locker when they fell, which caused them to bleed everywhere! Basically, he goes into a comatose state for a bit. It happens at least once a month..

- Kou's birthday is October 13th.
- They sleep a lot less than you'd normally want, and they're also extremely prone to nose bleeds. Unfortunate for both him and the person he surrounds himself for most of the day!
- Besides their eminence, Kou also has a generally misfortunate insomnia.
- They have an interest in astrology. Their room has old glow in the dark stars they haven't taken off yet.
- Kou enjoys electro-swing and classical music. They have a little bit of talent for dancing, which is something they like doing with Jiren. It's often that they'll randomly grab him and do a couple dramatic little spins.
- Kou has heterochromia, their left eye being gray, and their right eye being green.
- They have eyebags due to the overuse of their eminence.
- They have a scar on their left hand. Why? Oh, just something for their dear rival. Rather than a scar, it's acutally just a sitched up wound that he keeps reopening- on purpose..
- Their normal fashion palette is very monochromatic, consisting of gray, black, red, and white. They like to wear comfortable, yet neat looking clothes. Though their hair tends to be more messy than they'd like..
- Kou has two moles, one below his lip, and one below his right eye.
- Since they often run cold, Kou's clothes are always warm and long-sleeved.
"Jiren is on my mind most days, considering our wonderful and heated rivalry. It's a shame he doesn't take care of himself more, though I have no problem in trying to help him do so. Some people say that I'm awfully affectionate with him.. hehe. Who could help it, really?"
Now, due to Kou's own obliviousness, he doesn't understand that the feelings he has for Jiren aren't just platonic or built from competitiveness. Kou sees him as the one person who is most equal to him, and therefore will do so much and more for him. Because of his issues with friendship and properly speaking to those around him, having someone like Jiren who doesn't mind how eccentric or what he says means the most to him. He constantly tries to get Jiren to take care of himself more, offering his blood or even letting him sleep in class and hiding him from the teacher's view when he does. He has a habit of taking notes for himself and Jiren, giving them to him later. It's not very clear to him, but rather to everyone else that he's got a boyfriend.
"He's my brother. I may be a little mean or rough on him, but it's aaalways out of the care and love of my heart. If he isn't better than his older brother or sister, he just has to do better; no? It seems he doesn't like me at all though! Or like me talking to him, for that matter. I don't mind it personally; I'll just try and try again. And probably get yelled at, time and time again."
Kou is very antagonistic towards his little brother, something that he simply is without thinking. He pays a lot of attention to him; much to Ferrin's dismay. His acts of quote unquote kindness are usually seen as hostility, so he's recently figured out that trying to help Ferrin is something he should do on the sidelines. He's not a good brother by any means, but it could be said that he's trying his best.
