Dudley Crabgrass

A crab that gained the power to shapeshift and is now trying to live like a human.

One day a simple crab scuttled along the beach. However, he scuttled too far and ended up reaching an abandoned factory at the very edge of the beach. In the middle of his explorations, he fell into a barrel of radioactive waste, the chemicals rearranging his DNA and turning him into a pink blob. Little did he know, the structure of his DNA was so loose that he was now capable of changing into anything!!
So if you had the power to change into anything, what would you become?
For the crab, he wanted only one thing: to be human. He changed himself to have a male body, shocked to find that it actually worked. Now able to live among the strange creatures and mingle among them, he picked the name Dudley Crabgrass and happily set out to live his new life!

Notes: I remember once thinking, "What's the weirdest character you could create?" It needed something cliche, like radioactive waste, but this had to be something you'd NEVER see. Cats? No. Dogs? Nah. Hamsters? Closer. Then it hit me. C R A B S. Don't bully him pls he's trying his best.

Personality: Dudley is optimistic, excitable, and jolly. He's loud and happy, and loves everything about everything! Although since he's not human, he doesn't know a single thing about human things and can be seen as a gullible idiot plenty of times. He'll believe whatever anyone tells him and will take things too literally. If you tell him to get lost, you'll see him five minutes later walking around with a blindfold so he won't be able to tell where he's at and will literally be lost.

Non-Human Abilities:
- Shapeshift - Dudley can transform into anything - from different humans, animals, to even inanimate objects! However, no matter what he changes into, something on his new form will always be pink, from something small like a fingernail to something very noticeable like the entire hair or, heck, even the skin color!

Drawing Details: He's ALWAYS happy, and has both facial hair and freckles. The belt and suspenders are a MUST - his beltbuckle being a crab design and the ends of his suspenders seashells. Vest and sunglasses are optional. He loves pink and red color schemes.

Fun/Extra Facts:

- He is a Florida Stone Crab!

- Occasionally seen at the beach, grabbing crabs that picked on him when he was one and hurling them into the sea.

- May have been bullied by the other crabs before gaining his powers.

- Loves seafood, especially crab and oysters, although he loves trying out anything humans make.

- Crabs eat other crabs sometimes, so it's not something new to Dudley.

- Favorite place in the world is Red Lobster.

- Doesn't know how to read or write but dammit, he's learning.

- Incredibly obedient and takes orders seriously.

- Super dumb. Like, dumber than Valentine.

- Usually only changes form when someone asks him to. 

- Does, however, change into a puppy or cat when trying to cheer someone up or win them over. Also turned into a potted plant when he naps.

- Has never gotten a brainfreeze.
