At first glance, Lucian seems like a stuck up jerk. He's not afraid to flaunt his status to anyone to prove his point, and can be extremely arrogant to an obnoxious degree. Being blunt doesn't help him with this either, as it tends to just grind on people's nerves more. After all, he'll stop at nothing to remind you that he's classically trained, or that he became a coordinator of a demon-hunting squad at a young age. But poke a little deeper, and you just might find he's a lonely kid who's never really had a friend. Though he transferred to Damien's squad as their coordinator for a little change of pace, little does he know the most talkative one is also a reincarnated demon himself.

Summary
Unlike Damien, Lucian was keenly aware that he was Vulpecula's reincarnation from a very young age. As a result, he had a lot of pressure put on him from the beginning, and not just from his parents wanting the perfect, obedient child. Rather, they were already expecting him to be better than average because of his status as a reincarnated old Asura. He grew up tutored from a very young age before being shipped off to private school, being taught how to behave, how to be a demon-hunter, alongside advanced school classes and violin lessons all at once. Being in so many places at once never really left young Lucian with a place to breathe nor a way to make friends, so he simply delved deeper into his work and let his feelings simmer.
After discovering his powers - namely, that of creating small, contained pocket dimensions he would call 'demiplanes', Lucian discovered a very particular demiplane. Covered in brambles, moss and luminous mushrooms, but with no visible light, he realized it was a minature library, storing all the journals from previous Vulpeculas. He went through them, one by one, and was quickly able to adapt that knowledge to his demon hunter training, passing all his tests and trials and earning him the title of the youngest coordinator in his clan. As expected, those his age thought he didn't deserve it, scorning him for being a rich kid who hadn't known a real fight in his life, leading his first led squad to be very tumultous: functional in destroying demons in practice, but with no true group cohesion.
When the offer to transfer to another hunter clan came, Lucian pushed for it, tired of being left behind in his old clan. After some convincing, the higher ups in his clan relented, leading him with a fresh new start in Eltanin. And while reports of demons have been increasing, Lucian knows he'll be ready for them and more.

Trivia
• Lucian and his family are of Austrian descent, his mother and father were born there.
• The type of person to buy 6 dollar coffees every day.
• Actually oblivious about a lot of normal things people do in groups (like how to play Smash, how to behave at a non-formal birthday party, even how to order from McDonalds, etc.) He gets very flustered about this if it's pointed out but the others just consider it endearing (which in turn makes his face go beet red.)
• After a long argument with his parents, he eventually switches to Damien's public school to be closer to the gang.
• The true parental figure in his life has been his nanny, who he still keeps in touch with.
• Is the type of Coordinator that leave people to learn from their own mistakes. Obviously this grates on Damien's nerves as he makes a lot of them due to his stubborn nature.
• Lucian was hand-picked by Isaac to be his replacement if he passed away, figuring out that the boy was also one of the reincarnated demons, and would thus prove as a good tutor to Damien.

Damien
Lucian can tell he grinds on his nerves - and he rather enjoys the attention! It's nice for once to face annoyance instead of scorn, as silly as the thought may seem - at least now he could have a little fun in the face of it all, right? He quickly picks up Damien is one of the reincarnated Asura, and eventually, Damien becomes his first real friend, and the first person to actually care enough to notice how lonely he is.
Nadia
Relations between Nadia and Lucian are strained, to say the least. Lucian knows that she's hiding something - her familiarity with the rest of the squadron is way too pronounced to be mere coincidence. They constantly push at each other over what actions to take next, and while Lucian doesn't mind the challenge to authority, he does wonder if her choices are beneficial for all in the long run.
Samuel
Lucian's squadmate, and eventual friend. Samuel is initially hesitant to accept Lucian into their squadron after Isaac's passing, easily upset by his cocky personality. Eventually, however, they learn to appreciate each other for a shared love of music.
