History
Xiao Hong is the second daughter of a lesser noble family.
Her elder sister Shihong is Cixi's bodyguard, and thus was able to visit the royal family and retainers often. She has a crush on Guiren since when she was young. However despite his words which expressed the same sort of feeling towards her (along with encouragement from their peers), she noticed once Guiren was forcibly arranged with his partner.. the boy was rather smitten over his engaged partner Princess Miyu and thus Guiren grew distance from Xiao Hong.
