ive been hyperfixated on developing the fantasy world that me and my bf use for our ocs that don’t fit anywhere else, and i thought it would be fun to work on developing it by seeing how other people’s ocs would fit in it!
if you could throw any of the characters who are in the world a fav it would be appreciated!
technically you can send in any oc, just be aware that exulas is primarily a humanoid world so non-humanoids will have a limited answer ^^;
the world page is here, but it is Very bare bones atm since most of the lore is in our heads and in the Process of being put down TAT its mostly good for the map lmao

I like the idea of her as a spy, it feels like a particularly 'web-y' activity, plus it lets her sorta both be someone pulling the strings and being pulled by them.

TLDR; He was a literal devil in a neverending war and got bored cause. That's a long time to be killing stuff over and over again. So bro made a pact with an angel to become mortal in return for killing some fiends on the material plane for her. He's in his retirement era lol
ye that’s no problem ^^ again, the fae aren’t a thing in exulas, so he would probably be an elf whose magic manifests as the wings! (probably being made of light bc the magic specialities definitely carry over lmao). having a curse which makes you internalise magic that is usually external is fun, because it could be Very Damaging for him to have to keep it contained- he would have to be using his other magic a lot more to make up for having so much of it inside, which is probably why he gets sent out on so many quests and adventurer jobs.
the monarchies in exulas are all spoken for unfortunately, so he would have to be kicked down to being just a noble, but that’s not too bad tbh ^^; money can buy you a lot of access to the higher up areas of the oláres if you have enough of it lmao
tbh dragons in exulas are usually shapeshifted into a humanoid form, just to make it easier to get around in society lmao, but again they would probably be in ilaphis just bc they would be more accommodations for them.
chaos magic would probably just be an uncontrolled form of innate magic, so they might be picked up by one of the magic schools to get taught how to control it ^^ gods are all spoken for so its probably just,,, powerful magic as an equivalent instead fkdhdjd
ohhh he’s got to have some connection to the overseer. the literal harbinger of war. but there’s no angels or demons on exulas so the closest thing i can think is that he is an enenra- since they were originally created by the lorekeeper of anslas becoming a god and incinerating everything living around him lmao- kind of demonic/fallen angel vibes. and ngl i have been strongly considering making a semi-shifty organisation that grants ‘wishes’ for a strong price, which i think having him go to to turn him into a ‘human’ would be very fun, since enenra are coal sprites its a bit difficult for them to do things like tending to plants or being around soecies who beed to breathe, and as a price it could be that he infiltrates the unsilenced many (biiig rebel group. run by the overseer) to report back about what they’re up to. bc if you’re in the many you’re probably going to be killing things- monsters or people. it’s a slight shift from the angel demon vibes but hopefully the energy of ‘you thought you were escaping your old life but you’re back with the same problems as before’ carries ^^
